Chapter 2 (New Place)

"Shadefire?" A familiar voice. said. "Are you sure that you can survive on the stretch?  What would happen if you were attacked?" My extremely worried sister said. "I'll be fine. And if someone attacks me, well, you know what they will be walking off with." I replied. My youngest sister and elder brother walked into my den. "Shadeyyyy!!! I haven't seen you since forever! Ya know! With the gaurd training and stuff!" Pheonix said. "Pheonix, it was only 6 weeks." I laughed. "Pheonix? You don't know this but, I'm leaving." I said. Pheonix's bright smile turned into a stressed and sad face in a matter of seconds. "B-but i thought you said t-that you would stay?" "I know, I know. But it's getting too stressful for me. Plus, hopefully I'll be back and 4 weeks." I explained. "Shadefire, remember we only escaped a moon ago from the BLU's. They could still be after us." Stormtalon  said. I let out a pity full face for them, as if our family were gone (witch they were). I sighed and continued packing my saddle bag. "Please be careful Shadefire." My brother said. " i will. I will".

I let out a regretful sigh as I opened my dark purple-blue eyes. Where am I now? I thought. What happened to the knife in my-oh. It's still there and still painful. Shit. Oh. And to make it worse, I'm in a truck. A F**KING TRUCK.  I yawned as I stretched out my galaxy wings. "Ow!" I yelped as I turned into my human form. "What the actual hell hit me?" I looked up to see a dent above me. "Oh. The roof.". The room was small and enclosed with blood that painted the walls carelessly. Guns were layed on the floor as if someone purposely left them there. The door was slightly ajar as she put her hand near it to open it. She lifted the door like it was a feather, still minding her shoulder. Shadefire stepped out of the metal traveller as her hands met with the floor. She transformed into her wolf form and started to walk across the concrete room. She was walking when she sudenly noticed something. "Oh heya kid! Ya finally awake ey?" A Boston spoke out. Shadefire jolted in surprise and shock and then hid behind a box of ammo. The man didn't seem to care about that and approached her. This made her even more anxious and made transform and growl. He looked behind the box to see nothing. He only saw her tail whip around the corner. "That was....weird." Shadefire tripped over a crack and fell. The knife only plunged in further. "Oh for flips sake!" She hissed in pain. The people must of heard this because instead of one or 2 in the hallway, and now there were 9!. She got up and again turned into her human form to talk. "Ok whoever you weirdos are, I don't need your goddamn help. Leave me alone. I know I'm a so called 'child' but I'm not weak. I swear to ash's teeth if ANY of you poss me off, I will tear you apart." Shadefire spoke. They looked at me with blank expressions. "MY POINT HERE IS PLEASE LEAVE ME. Just. Leave. Me. F**KING ALONE." I yelled threateningly. They exchanged glances like what the heck happened. and little did they know, I had already ran off. What kind of jerks do they think they are to capture me? I thought to myself as I ran off .....it all makes sense now. No wonder why I snapped at them. They resemble the BLU shits. I should apologise but I'm not going to until i cool off. I ran towards a cliff and jumped onto a rock and started to climb. I climbed up to the flat part and sat down. I looked at the blue sky as I sighed. I sat there for a few minutes. Waiting. Waiting for something to happen. It was quiet up here. I spent a good 20 minutes up there until I transformed and flew off the cliff. I had an idea to apologise.

TIMESKIP

"I hope this is a big enough fish." I said to myself as I grasped the net. I took off from the river and flew to the base. It was around before dusk that I returned. I transformed into my human form as I landed my feet on the sand. "Hey lassie" a Scottish voice said. "H-hi" I said shyly. "D-do you know where the m-men are?" I asked. "Ye follow me" he said as he guided me to where they were. "Hey guys! Tha kids here!" The Boston said. "I-I'm sorry about b-before guys. I uh, I brought you some dinner if you haven't had it already." I said as I held out the large fish. A short man with goggles walked over to me and took the fish. "Thanks kid. Hey by tha way what's your name?" He asked. "ShadeFire." I replied. I walked over to the corner and sat down since I didn't know what to do. I looked at the now cooked fish in jealousy. I looked away and continued to stare at the floor. "Hello? ShadeFire? Right? I vas wondering if jou could like some food." A German said. "Yes please sir." I said. I was very wary of his presence due to the BLU version of him injecting me with unknown drugs. After a few minutes, he was back with a plate of food. "Here jou go Frau." "Thanks" i started to eat the food after he left. An hour had passed since they took my plate and sat on the couch. My eyes felt heavy and I felt tired. "Hey toots. Do ya wanna sit on tha couch with us? Ya don't have to but ya can." The Boston spoke. "Ok sir." I spoke. "Kid, ya don't have to call me sir. Call me scout." I nodded and followed him. He patted a spot next to him on the gray couch as I jumped on. This is comfier than my den's pelts. My eyes felt heavy again as I started to Lean into scout. As he felt me lean onto him he chuckled. The others stared at him jealously. "jealous?" He smirked.

Maybe I can trust them.

Engineer's POV

So her name's shadefire. I wonder why her parents would call her that. He wondered as he saw scout carrying her to his room. "Hey scout, where ya gonna put her?" He asked him. "Oh. I had an idea that I could have her in my room." He replied. "I think she'd be better off at medic's infirmary. He's workin' late tonight." Engineer suggested. Scout have him a thanks-for-the-advice nod and headed off to the infirmary. Once scout got there he walked through the door. "Scout? Vhat are jou doing? Shouldn't jou be asleep?" The German asked. The German then straight away noticed the sleeping child in scout's arms. "Oh. I vill get a bed for her. Just leave her here." Medic said. Scout nodded and left the room. Medic managed to pick up the kid and place her in the bed i when he came back. "Goodnacht, Mein liebe."
