Y/n POV

It's already 2pm and I'm here at the hallway looking at my timetable. As i was done looking at my schedule, I walk directly to my next class which is located in the other building.

I walk to the room and notice that some of them were in my previous class.

"hey!" someone called as I walk passed the first row

"you're y/n right?" she asked as I nodded

"I actually don't know someone in this class so I was wondering if you can sit with me" she said

"sure, no worries" I replied as i walked to the seat next to her and put down my bag

In just a minute our professor came in and started checking the attendance.

"To start our orientation let me introduce myself first, I'm Mrs. Kim and I'm gonna be your professor in biochemistry" she started

"It's already your last class so I assume you already notice some familiar faces right?"

"Yes" we answered

Professor Kim talks about her subject and also on what we can learn on it.

It takes about an hour to fully explain she needs in her class.

" you already vote for student government right?" Mrs. Kim ask

"can I ask who? I am the one who should list your names" she said as she get her notes from the podium

I arrange my table a little then I stand up from my seat

"oh, there's 2 of you? But the vacant is only one" Mrs. Kim said

"Are you sure you haven't get listed yet?" She added as she look at her notes looking for any error

"he was the one who got the votes" I said pertaining to the guy from the back

"then you are?"

"Lee Y/n, Mr. Lim selected me from last year" i said

"ohh, you must be the student that he recommend, I assume you came from our high school department"

"Yes, I did"

"How about you? can i get your name?" Mrs. Kim ask as she look to the guys direction

"Huang renjun" he said

"Thanks for that, you may take a seat now" she said

I was about to take my seat when I felt something itchy in my right hand.
 
I look over it and saw that there is that certain string that is tied to me.

No, not this one again

I look at the string finding its other end as it brings me to the same guy that is still standing. He looks at it confusedly and also follow it like I do

We both make an eye contact for a solid 5 seconds before my seatmate, chaewon called me

"y/n you good?" she said looking worried

"yeah, just someone looks familiar" I said as I take my seat

"maybe from your other class" chaewon said

"yea, maybe"

I shrugged off the thoughts that been filling my mind as I just continue listening to our professor who talks about some reminders.

"That's all, you'll get dismiss now" Mrs. Kim said

"Thank you for today Professor" We all said in unison as the students started leaving the class one by one

I grab my bag and started to head to the door when someone stop me by grabbing my wrist

It's him.

Huang Renjun.

"about this?" I asked as I show my right hand

Receiving a nod from him I continue to speak myself

"You don't need to worry, I'm not interested" I said as I bring my hand down

"about what?" He bluntly said

 "You don't know this?"

"kinda" he replied while letting go of his grip

"then you no need to know" I lastly said before leaving

I walk directly out of the building and was about to leave the campus when I heard my friend called

"Y/n!" She said

I look at the direction finding her going to me

"How was your last class?" she asked

Mira was my friend since my high school year and she also have the same major with me

"Nothing special" I said and continue to walk

"going home early?" Mira said as she follow me

"kinda tired"

"yea, it's tiring to introduce all day" she said

"I'll also head now, take care" she added before she take the opposite way as I take the bus heading to home.

Sitting at the back of the bus while leaning my head window the things earlier started to come back.

"How come he don't know about this?" I mumble while looking at the red string in my finger

Few minutes of sitting there, I finally arrived at my stop. Getting out of the bus and walking to the street feels so long.

I just wanted to rest after a long day but it looks like i still need to walk for few minutes.

"I'm home" I said as I close the door behind me

"you're class took long" my older brother, chanyoung said

"you just cut classes because it's orientation" I added walking to the stairs

"you're right"

"Wake me up later, I'll just take a nap"

"tired?" He asked while taking a bottle of water from the fridge

"yup" I said and walk directly to my room

I put my bag on my desk and remove my shoes, I sat at the edge of my bed as a scenario popped up

"I'm sorry but we can't"

"It looks like it's not true"

he said before leaving me alone

Lying to my bed as I feel tears started to form, just by that memory emotions are all coming back.

I held my tears and arrange myself in the bed before drifting to dreamland.
