"Arya I-" "Safe it and get out" Arya cut Draco of before he finishes his sentence. But then I notice there was a girl, almost to Ginny's age with brown hair and green eyes was approaching us with a genuine smile and ravaged look. "How have you been Arya," The girl said in a caring tone. Arya turns her face towards the girl only to gasp at meeting her eyes. Her eyes widen and she changed from irritation to dazzle as she jumped to the girl for a hug. "Astoria? Oh, dear. It is you!" She hugged them tight and both girls holding each other as if they haven't met in so long. "I knew you will be here, that is why we came." The girl, whose name is Astoria steps back and fidgets her fingers together. She looked over at me and gave a slight smile then look back at Arya and Draco. "We need to talk in private." In defence pulled Arya back hitting my chest. I will not let that ferret talk to her.
"She's not going anywhere with that death eater." I snarled at both Malfoy and Astoria and grip Arya's wrist. Malfoy's pale face look down in guilt when I called him a death eater. I felt my sleeves being tugged when Arya tried to lose my grip from her and her doe brown eyes looking into mine silently asking her to lose it. "I can handle this, Georgie. I trust Astoria. Besides" She turns to the blonde boy who was still beside Astoria. "I kicked Malfoy's ass numberless times before. I'm sure I can do it again if he did anything suspicious" She gave a sadistic smirk to him shifting the whole aura around her. For some reason, this side of her looks sexy. Throwing Malfoy glares that might kill him. I nodded my head and let go of her hand but still worried for her.
"Are you sure? I can stay here if you want" my voice fill with concerns when I ask her. "It's ok honey. I can handle him. See you here for dinner." She assures me and pecks my lips. "See you later then" I gave her a tight smile and left her bakery to and walk crossed to my joke shop. From the cashier counter, I can see them speaking from the windows. Arya's face was still stone-cold whenever Malfoy starts talking. What will they possibly be arguing about? My train of thought was interrupted by some kid who asks me some questions about the furry pink Pygmy Puffs, so I went ahead and help them and continue my day, hoping that she will be alright with Malfoy.
The day when by quick and it's already closing time. Once I flipped the sign to 'close' I went ahead towards Arya's apartment to have dinner just like we talk about earlier. I climb up the stairs and knocked on her door three times while waiting for her. "Who is it?" I heard her saying from the other side. "It's me. Open up love" I replied to her. I heard the lock clicked and the door opened, I went into her apartment and kept my keys on the little bowl she has besides the door. "Dinner will be ready for a few minutes. Why not set the table?" She asked as she stirs something in a pot. I just answer a nod and set the table while Arya pours some noodle soup into two blows.
We ate in silence but this isn't like any other silence that we usually very comfortable with. No, it's the opposite of comfortable. I couldn't take it anymore of this uncomfortable tension we were having. "What happened this afternoon, when I left?" I questioned her with a deep tone. Without even a glance at me, she muttered something under her breath. "Pardon me. I didn't quite hear your mumble" I said with a stern yet bored tone. Finally, looking back at me with her brown doe eyes she repeats what she was mumbling earlier. "Draco wants to make peace with me and ask me to do a cake for his secret wedding with Astoria".
She looked troubled and nervous. Who wouldn't? Well, I can't picture it. "So, what did do answer them?" I ask calmly but something tells me that I already know the answer to my questions. "I told them that I will do it but not for Draco. I will do it for Astoria" She looks down at her noodles a pushed away from the bowl. "I will explain from the beginning but promise me you will not get mad," Arya said with a pleading voice scared that I might be mad at her for something but I'm not gonna be mad at her. "Promise I won't be mad just take it from the top" I smile at her and tug her hair behind her ears. "Well after you left...
