"I'm so dead." Was Warriors' first thought in the morning. How he forgot he was supposed to be at Wind's house at no less than eight in the morning was beyond him.
But, here he was at 7:45 am on a Saturday, running through the house grabbing his jacket and scarf, stealing some of Legend's toast with a half-assed apology, all while running out of the door and down the street where he needed to be.
If it wasn't for Four, who accidentally slammed his room door, Warrior wouldn't have jumped right off his bed and out his door to find a wide eyed Legend, who also reminded him of the appointment he needed to get to. Then, on top of being late, Time decided to give him a heart attack by standing behind his front door and jumping out while he tied his shoes. All Time did after that was chase Warrior down the drive way, but stopped when Four mentioned how important it actually was for Warrior to get to where he needed to be on time.
So there he found himself, running down the street with a now cold piece of toast in his hand, his scarf easily thrown around his neck, and his messy hair being squashed by the wind, making it somewhat flat.
He ran until he made it to the front door of the greenish cream house where he calmed down his ragged breathing and ran his fingers through his hair in order to make himself somewhat presentable.
Warrior knocked on the front door loudly, but not hard. After waiting a few moments, the lock made a soft click and the door opened slightly. From the other side of the door, he could see Aryll looking at him.
"Aww. Big brother, he's here!" Aryll yelled as she opened the door all the way.
Loud footsteps were heard as Wind made his way down the stairs. He ran out the door and rammed straight into Warrior. "Where were you? I thought you weren't coming." Wind stated while almost dragging Warrior to the floor.
"I wish he didn't come, then we could have gone to the park together." Aryll sulked while crossing her arms.
"You know I don't want to to, Aryll, and you can't make me." Wind said to his sister, who grabbed her small seagull backpack from the floor, and walked over to the now open garage door.
'Was that open the whole time?' Warriors thought to himself as he watched the small girl open the car door.
"Well, you certainly are late." Came the voice of Wind's Grandma. He noticed she was now standing next to Wind.
Warriors let out a nervous chuckle and rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, sorry about that. I, somewhat, slept in and my roommates gave me a hard time leaving." He decided to ignore the thoughts of the old man scaring him half to death.
Impa let out a small laugh. "Well, as long as you're here." She said with a smile. "Now, I do hope Wind told you that he has a pet."
"Oh, sh-"
"Language, Wind." Impa said while giving him a small smack on the head.
"Ow, granny!"
"A pet? I don't recall him saying anything about that." Warriors said while thinking back to after his conversation with Impa the night before during the tour Wind gave him around the house.
"Hmm... well, Wind has a mini pig named Waddles, and Aryll has a seagull. They don't bother much, so you've got nothing to worry about." Impa told him as she helped Aryll with putting her stuff in the vehicle.
"A pet pig? Never would have thought." Warriors said while grinning.
"Hey! I like pigs. I think they're cute." Wind said in defense while crossing his arms and huffing slightly.
