Being parents was hard. Sally felt like she never got any time alone, the baby always needed something. Which, of course, was the point of a baby. But it was overwhelming while she was trying to heal herself.

A screaming cry echoed in their room. It woke both parents. Sally began to push herself up, to feed Fundy. Wilbur sat up as well, and gently placed his hand on her shoulder.

"I got him, you go back to sleep." He whispered, and planted a kiss on her cheek. She smiled and turned over, laying back down.

She heard him walk over to the crib, and carry the screaming baby out of their room and into the kitchen. She closed her eyes as he finally got quiet again after a few moments.

Wilbur rentered the room, with a content baby in his arms, slowly drinking his milk. He sat down on the bed next to her and smiled at the image of his baby and his fiancé sleeping peacefully.

It was quiet nights like this that made him so proud to be a father.

Sally sat quietly in the Royal meeting. Wilbur had to be there, and he wasn't going to leave her and the baby alone, so he just brought her with him.

Fundy was sleeping quietly in her arms, but she knew it was only a matter of time before he woke hungry.

Wilbur sat silently at her side, every so often giving her a glance. Technoblade was across the table, and he kept looking warily at her. Phil was seated at the head of the table, with the ambassadors from other nations in down at the other end.

They were in some conversation about treaties and financial assistance and blah blah blah when Fundy started to fuss. He was content for a moment to just be bounced in his mother's arms, but soon that wasn't enough to soothe him.

Finally, Sally just sighed and pulled out her nursing cover, just a small blanket. She laid it over her chest and allowed the baby to eat. Some of the ambassadors gave her some looks, but none said anything.

The rest of the meeting continued fine until Fundy was finished, and she lifted him up onto her shoulder, burping him gently as she listened to Phil.

"I'm sorry, King Philza, but is it really necessary to have a nursing mother in here? I mean, fine if she is involved, but does she really have to... you know?" One spoke up. Wilbur opened his mouth to respond, but Phil held up a hand.

"Do you have a better idea of what she should do?" He asked, folding his arms.

"She does not need to be a part of the meeting, if this is an issue. Or she could wait until after the meeting." He said, smirking.

"Sure, but she is a part of the Royal Family, so she is required to come to these meetings. And if she didn't feed him, he would scream. Which would you prefer?" Phil leaned back in his chair.

"I suppose I don't see the benefit in having a woman sit in on the proceedings."

"Then I no longer see the benefit of our allyship." Phil crossed his arms. "You are excused to leave my castle, please do so hastily." He then stood and walked out the door, followed closely by the brothers and Sally.

"Thank you, Phil, you really didn't have to do that." Sally said, passing Fundy over to Wilbur.

"Of course I did. You're family."
