Full Moon

Four Weeks had past with Remus staying with the Mirkwood Werewolves. He had found it surprisingly easy to fit in, re-kindeling his only Friendship with Kassy and deepening it. She and her Family treated him as a Part of it, and by the Time New Moon rolled around, the Kids called him Uncle Remus - although he noticed they called every Member of the Pack that wasn't a Parent Aunt or Uncle. It still made him feel welcome and safe.

His Room was on the second Floor and painted a light blue, a thick Rug on the slightly worn wooden Floor. The wooden tiles were rectengular and made a zig-zag-Pattern in light and dark.
The Furniture was made from light Beech Wood, with Wolves, ancient Symbols and Runes carved into them. Remus remembered enough from Ancient Runes in School to regocnize a few Runes meant for Protection and Warmth, but also Norse Rune Circles to grand Safety and calm Sleep.
There was a Fourposter Bed in one Corner with Curtains and Covers in a slightly darker Blue than the Walls. Carved into the Headpiece was the Symbol of the Pack, surrounded by Runes and Symbols. A Desk was placed at the Window with a Bookshelf next to it, a Closet against the free Wall.
It was comfortable and safe and Remus loved it.
The Pack helped him to get his Stuff from England, as well as making sure that the Stuff that had belonged to Sirius or the Potters was well stored in their respective Family Vaults. The Room was too small for Remus to unpack everything, but he placed the Books in the Shelf and some important Pictures on the Desk.
It made the Room feel even more like a Home.

Tonight would be a full Moon and the Packhouse was brimming with Excitement. The whole Pack was together, a total of thirty Werewolves and their Families, which sometimes extended to non-related Family-Friends.
They came from the Cities all around the Schwarzwald, from Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden, Straßburg, some smaller Cities and even Stuttgard, the Capital of the Bundesland Baden-Württemberg. Two Workers from the Bundesamt für Werwolf-Angelegenheiten were also there, both wearing light green Shirts with a celtic Wolfhead embroided on the Back.
Remus was shy at first, but the whole Group treated him welcoming and warmly.
The Elves had outdone themselves for the Dinner the Pack shared in the large Dinningroom that had a Floor tiled with natural Stones, the Ceiling high and supported by the same dark Oak Beams from the Main Hall.
Remus loved watching the Children of the Pack running around and playing. Everyone above thirteen was training to become either an Animagus or even a Werewolf. Below that Age, they would stay in the House tonight, Feli once again taking the Lead of the Children her Age with Cody being her Beta.
Remus was nervous, but he felt his Wolf being between calm and excited, like he had been during School before every Fullmoon with the Marauders. Kassy had decided to stay with Remus for the Night while Nero led the Pack through the Forest and over the Mountains.
As the Sun started to set, they went outside.

"Leave your Jacket, it's warm enough outside and it's just a short Hike", Anna smiled and took off jogging after Regulus.

A few non-Werewolf Packmembers stayed behind to watch the Kids.
Remus followed the already shifted Kassy through the thick, dense Forest, his Breath going calmer than ever before. They scaled a steep Hill and reached a whide Clearing on top of it, surrounded by Oaks as old as Time. Stones covered in celtic Runes formed a Circle in the Centre.

"The Entrence to the Wards. We always shift within the Circle and then run together", Remus heard Regulus explain.

He kept his Distance and watched how the two Bundesamt-Workers took off their Shirts and shifted into large German Shepards with official looking Collars around their Necks.
Other Packmembers shifted into Animals as well. Remus saw a Brown Bear, two Lynx, and multiple Owls, but the most common Animals were Dogs. They ranged from a Border Collie over Huskies to a  Great Dane, all of them without any Collars or Harnesses. There were also Foxes, a Marten and Coyote, but no Wolves.
By now, the Sky was dark blue with silver Stars twinkling down at them. Remus could feel Moony shivvering with Excitement, wanting to race through the Forest. Kassy was next to him, her white Fur almost glowing in the Darkness and her blue Eyes sparkling with the Starlight from above.
But it was Regulus to transform first as the Moon rose over the Horizon. It was quick and looked painless as the tall, dark haired Man shifted into a huge, pitchblack Wolf with glowing Amber Eyes. Anna was next, her Wolf being chocolate Brown with violett Eyes.
Remus breathed in the Smells of the Forest and felt the Transformation take over. He let it, trusting the Pack and Moony to keep him safe.

Moony lifted his Head from the Ground and got to his Paws. The Wind penetrated his Fur, but it felt cool and welcoming. He shook his Fur, that was the Color of Fog in the Moonlight, and looked over at Nero.
The black Wolf walked over to Moony and sniffed him, accompanied by his Beta and the white Shewolf. Moony held still, but didn't budge. Nero snorted aproovingly at that.

"Alpha", he barked lightly and nudged Moony's Head.

Moony barked back and wagged his Tail. The brown Beta huffed friendly and sniffed his Throat.

"Our Guest now", she stated.

With that, the leading Mates of the Pack turned and sprinted off into the Forest, followed by their Pack. The white Shewolf, Moony remembered her Name to be Kassy, stayed next to him.

Moony started to explore his Surroundings.
It wasn't his Home and his Pack wasn't there, but he could smell that Kassy was related to his Mate, so he felt safe. After exploring the Circle of Stones and realizing that it was meant to protect them, he walked towards the Forest.
The Shewolf got up and trailed after him a bit as they entered the Darkness below the Trees.
Scents hit Moony's Nose and he felt his Muscles tense at the Smell of Squirrels. He really wanted to hunt them. The white Wolf next to him looked at him before nudging him and tearing of down the Hill. Moony barked and tore off after her, chasing after her through the thick Forest.
It was a wonderfull Night being out hunting and running with the Pack and howling under the beautiful full Moon. Nero, Kassy and the brown Beta named Schoko spend Time around him, making him comfortable among the other Members of the Pack.

It was a Night worth remembering.
