My baby boy ~-~ Jeverus morphing into Drarry

Chapter 6 (Final Jeverus only chapter)

"Papa, Daddy, you're coming too, right?" asked Harry.

"Yep," said James. "We'll be right behind you, Harry."

"Okay. I see you soon!" Harry gripped Henry tight, and Dumbledore once again raised his wand. He muttered something unintelligible, and Harry slowly faded away, as if he were a dream. Severus bit his lip to keep from crying, and James wiped the corners of his eyes furiously.

"Remember, boys," Dumbledore spoke. "Harry is your future; your confirmed future. You'll see him again."

Then Severus lost it and, apologizing profusely, left the office and cried in the hallway. James came out behind him and embraced him, and they both sobbed.

When they finally got control of themselves again, they left for their former dormitory, the Room of Requirement, to move back out.

Sirius and Remus and Peter were all waiting by the entrance. 

"Where's Harry?" asked Sirius.

Severus lost it again, and James said through choking sobs, "He-he's b-back i-in the-the future... he-he's g-gone, j-just like th-that!" Sirius and Remus became sullen, while Peter went shock-still. 

"Oh, Prongs... James..." said Sirius, going to hug his best friend. Remus tried to calm Severus. 

When they all entered the Room of Requirement, they saw that saw that all of James's and Severus's stuff was already re-packed, and there was a box of tissues on the floor. 

James laughed a little as he picked up his trunk. Severus picked his up with a little snort of his own. 

When James and Severus made eye contact, and then they both burst out laughing with no real intentions behind it.

They were happy as long as they had each other. 

They'd see Harry again. They just knew it.

And all was right in the world.
