The next day, a Sunday, hit like a ton of bricks.

Severus was up early, drinking his tea as usual. Harry and James were still sleeping.

Severus couldn't help but smile. Harry was holding Henry to his chest, and James was holding Harry to his chest, and they both had somehow fallen asleep with their glasses on. Both pairs sloped, lopsided, on their faces in the most adorably dorky way possible.

Severus actually transfigured a quill into a Muggle camera and took a picture. The picture didn't move, but it perfectly captured the adorable moment. He printed the photo and stuck it into his pocket, distransfiguring the camera back into a quill.

When the boys did wake up, it was to the smell of tea and the light flowing in through an open window.

"Good morning, Daddy," said Harry.

"Morning, sweetheart," replied James.

"Henry wants to play with you, Daddy," said Harry. James smirked. "Oh, does he? That sounds fun, but I need to change first."

"Okay, Daddy. I'm gonna get dressed all by myself!"

James smiled and left the room to change. When he returned, Harry was struggling to fasten a button on his shirt.

"daddy, help," he said, not moving his eyes from the button. James smiled and fastened it for him.

"Thanks Daddy!" Harry grabbed Henry, and then James's hand. They came out of their room and met Severus, who was sitting on a sofa and sipping his tea.

"Morning, Harry. Morning, James," greeted Severus.

"Papa, daddy's gonna play with me today, and Henry!" Harry gushed.

"Do you have room for one more?" asked Severus. Harry clapped and replied, "Yep! Come on!" And he raced off to the bedroom.

James and Severus looked at each other, smiled, and then took off after him. They all collapsed onto the bed, laughing and tickling each other and just... being. It was a wonderful day, and it was soon over.

The next day was a Monday. Classes.

"Sev, Harry knows, trusts, and admires Padfoot, Moony, and Wormtail," argued James. "He'll be safe!"

"He'll be safe with my class as well," countered Severus.

"A bunch of pure-blooded, traditional Slytherins around a tiny, vulnerable product of gay? No, I don't think he'll be safe!"

Severus paused. "Fine," he gave in. "But he sits with me at meals."

"Deal," James said.

Harry cheerfully went with James to his classes. Professor Slughorn asked him personalized, simple questions, and Harry answered them all correctly. Slughorn was very, very impressed with "Little Harry," and James toted that pride with him for the rest of the day. He was the father of a Potions genius! Harry wasn't even 4 years old yet!

At lunch, James immediately bragged to whomever'd listen. Severus was impressed with Harry too, although he showed it by giving Harry an extra sweet. Harry loved all the positive attention and silently vowed to himself that he would never forget what a bezoar did.

After lunch, Harry went back with James.

But, just before dinner, they were summoned to Professor Dumbledore's office.

When they arrived, Severus and Professor McGonagall were already sitting there.

"Hi, Propessor McGon-ga-gall!" greeted Harry. Professor McGonagall smiled and replied, "Why, hello, Harry, dearest."

"Hi Mister!"

"Hello, Harry."

"Propessor Snugglehorns said that I was smart today!"

"Truer words have never been spoken," Dumbledore smiled.

"Why're we here, Professor?" asked James.

"I've cracked it. We can send Harry back home now."

James's and Severus's hearts dropped down into their knees.

"W-what? So soon?" asked Severus, trying not to let his voice shake. "You said several months! It's only been three days!"

"Why, yes, sometimes even I underestimate my own intellect," said Dumbledore.

Harry was staring intently at the tin of Lemon Drops and wasn't paying attention.

"Harry?" said James, his voice choking his breath.

"Yes, Daddy?" asked Harry, looking up at James.

"It's time for y-y--us, to go back home."

"Okay, Daddy," said Harry.

"Harry, will you stand here, please?" asked Dumbledore. Harry jumped off of his chair and stood where Dumbledore pointed. Dumbledore raised his wand--

"Wait!"

Dumbledore paused, amused.

"Harry, y-you can't forget Henry," said Severus, handing the owl to Harry. Harry took it gladly and said, "I love you, Papa."

Then both James and Severus were hugging Harry and trying to hide sobs, kissing him and saying their love aloud.
