I want some hot wings.
My stomach grumbled and my dress trailed behind me. It was dark blue and I loved it. That was one thing I have never been ashamed about. I was a girly- girl. It was weird given my personality but I liked heels and jewelry and getting my nails done.
I made my way down the castle halls with my mind empty, smiling and waving at the servants. Although it was one big show, I still respected the help unlike most royals.
Unlike most? You aren't even a real one, stupid.
That's not the point. Leave her alone
Would the two of you shut up?
My good and bad voices are always in the middle of things. The bad one I named Val and the good one I named Laya after my two middle names. It was stupid, yes, but they were always around and I needed to call them something.
They were there to help me make decisions but they usually just start arguing and I would just pick a side. They weren't very different, seeing as though they were both versions of me. It's just one of them explained things much more harsher than the other.
They weren't just voices either. They had bodies and everytime they spoke, I imagined them in a large room in my head, with a giant screen to watch my everyday life. V always wore something leather and red. Lay always wore something white and flowy. They both had my face, of course. They were like the shoulder angel and devil, except I banned them from my shoulders after the endless nights they spent playing board games on them.
They weren't the only voices I had. They were just the simplest. The others came to visit every once and awhile but would soon leave after realizing the terrible condition of my life.
What about a donut?
That's boring, get the wings.
It's 7 in the morning.
So?
Days had passed since the ball. And I thought things were hectic back then. I never thought being a fake queen could be so difficult. I had meetings constantly up my ass, questions thrown down my throat, and answers spilling out of my mouth. And the was just from the servants and council members. None of the questions I answered really mattered yet.
Because of all the commotion caused, with my identity and the prince's fallout, the Wyland royal family decided to lay low for a couple days. But it didn't mean they could stop the inevitable. They tried to push it back as far as possible but my face was now in the public. And now answers to their never ending questions needed to be there too.
