Honey Reynolds POV:

I cannot believe it. After years of countless business classes, language classes, extensive tests, rude corporate men and women, and financial struggles, I'm where I belong. And it is even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it as in my dreams.

I arrive at Incheon and the notification showing the lack of storage in my phone is a testament to how many pictures I clicked of the skies as we were landing. I quickly rush out of the plane with my carry-ons and pass through the security check before stopping and staring at the world around me.

The sound of conversations and heels, a familiar yet new fragrance that reeks of winter, and a sense of a new beginning - they draw me in. As does the Balenciaga store across from where I was standing - obviously we have to celebrate with a new bag. What am I even earning for if not to gift myself moments of pleasures and happiness with such beautiful, materialistic things?

Balenciaga bag in hand, I step out after collecting my luggage where my chariot a.k.a. a company-funded black van awaits. After greeting the driver, I settle in and we start to drive. I see all sorts of notifications pop up on my phone, but you know what? It's a Saturday.

"Everything else can wait," I tell myself, and simply stare at the Seoul skies with 'Seoul' by RM on my AirPods. The song just adds to the feeling of this experience being a huge, laugh-in-your-face, dream, because there isn't a single thing that's out of place. And the open purple skies seem to smile at me as I smile back and drift into slumber.

"Thank you, Byeong-hok-ssi" I thank the driver as he helps carry my stuff up to my apartment. It's a quiet place situated near Hannam the Hill which is occupied by most of my company's staff aside from those that can actually afford the place. I already love the blueberry bushes that surround the entrance, and the little outdoor staircase behind the main building that leads us to the floor my apartment is on.

The floor itself is open and breezy, surrounded by small plants and bonsais. I finally come to my apartment, and unlock the doors, expecting it to smell fresh. Instead, I get the very strong scent of cologne and sweat all muddled up. The driver informs me that my roommate is already here, thus the strong scents. I thank him once again and finally step into my home for the next few years.

I already like what I see - A sleek and spacious living room with all basic amenities that seem to fit in with the theme of the house, except for a couple of shorts sprawled across the couch. The kitchen also carries the black-blue-white theme with hardwood floors, and smells fresh - clearly, it hasn't been used yet.

I laugh to myself about how Alex, the person that's supposed to be my roommate, probably spent all her time ordering in. Finally, I head to the bedrooms, and upon seeing a 'do not disturb' sign on one, I head to the other.
