"Oh, God," I softly moaned, feeling him inside of me.
"You like that?" he asked, panting.
"Y-yeah," I responded, feeling slightly uncomfortable and in pain.
"I-I'm coming," he moaned, releasing himself inside of me.We rolled over onto his hard bed. I started at the yellow-coloured wall and contemplated life. I never thought I'd find myself with a guy who does drugs, let alone a drug dealer. I felt so empty.
"Want a line?" he immediately asked me, after he was content.
"Hell yeah," I said, suddenly intrigued. He crushed up the drug on a book and used a card to separate it. He took a huge line, before handing it to me. I took a deep breath. Does this guy really care about me? Does he even care for himself? Do I really want to be doing this?
"Aubrey, you good?" he asked, the least bit concerned for my overall, general well-being.
"Yeah, of course, Ethan," I falsely smiled.
I made the line a bit smaller, before he laughed at me. I made it bigger to stop his teasing, then took a deep breath once again and took it. Pure euphoria. I wasn't raised to be this way.8:05 am
June 19, 2021
I studied myself in my bathroom mirror. My hair's a mess, I barely brushed it last night before I went to bed. My face is a bit greasy, so I washed it. We have our own bathrooms in our bedrooms here at detox. From what I read, breakfast was at 8 AM and I'm very hungry. I haven't eaten these past few days.
After throwing my hair up in a bun, I decided to exit my room for breakfast. I was immediately greeted by the staff working the day shift.
"Good morning... Aubrey?" a blonde lady said.
She wore a casual outfit, sitting behind the front desk.
"Hi," I said quietly, still tired and drained from my lack of sleep.
"I don't think we've met yet. I'm a nurse, my name is Caroline," she replied politely.
"Oh, okay, yeah I'm Aubrey, haha," I nervously chuckled."It's nice to meet you. Breakfast is at the table over there," she explained, and I followed direction.
"Okay, thanks," I said, making my way over to the two tables with two trays of breakfast on each one.
"No problem, how'd you sleep?"
"Could've been better, I was tossing and turning all night," I replied, sitting down at the nearest spot.
"That's not good, did you want some sleeping meds tonight?"
"Yeah, that'd be great."It was scrambled eggs with two sausages, and it was luckily still warm. A bite in, I suddenly began to feel sick at the taste and sight of food. I gagged. Soon, the gagging became too much. I ran back to my room, almost slipping on the way. I felt so embarrassed.
I hurled into the toilet, feeling sick to my stomach. Nothing came out, it was just stomach acid, which made me gag even more. I did about four grams of coke with Andrew yesterday morning, and the day before that I hadn't eaten anything. Tears began streaming down my face, as I continued puking nothingness into the toilet bowl.
"Aubrey, are you alright?" the nurse asked from outside my door, knocking.
I forgot to shut my room door, but my bathroom door was closed.11:02 am
I sat on the couch, watching whatever was on TV. The lounge area was outside of all of our rooms beside the main detox office. The nurse had helped me relieve my vomiting. I didn't feel sick anymore, I'd felt better than earlier. I was tired as ever, though, but I couldn't sleep.
Suddenly, I heard a door open. I looked to the right and saw Chandler come out of his room. His hair was a little bit messy, which caused me to look away quickly. I met his blue coloured eyes for a split second.
"Good morning, Chandler," Caroline said.
"Morning," he responded, with his tired voice.
He automatically sat down at the table, having his breakfast. It was cold.
"Lunch is in half an hour, so if you want to wait until then, that's okay," Caroline explained.I hadn't talked to him much. I didn't feel like talking to anyone yesterday. I felt too hungover and drained. Compared to my ex boyfriend, he is quite attractive. That is why I don't want to talk to him, I don't want a boyfriend. After Ethan cheated on me, I hadn't felt the same since.
About twenty minutes has passed, and Chandler sat on the sofa next to mine.
"What you watching?" he asked curiously.
"Nothing, you can change the channel if you want," I replied, sighing.
Silence began to fill the room. The nurse was in the office talking to somebody on the phone."What are you in here for? If you don't mind me asking," he almost whispered.
"U-um, drugs?" I said in a question-like tone.
He chuckled, "no, I meant which drugs, or alcohol, if that's what you were into."
"Well, I was really into coke. I also drank alcohol a lot, smoked weed here and there and I love my cigarettes," I almost grinned at the thought of it all.
"Really?"
"Yeah, well, what are you in here for?"The nurse came out of the office and sat down. I immediately glanced at my lap, knowing we aren't supposed to talk about stuff like that with other clients. I heard another door open, and a red-headed girl with curly hair entered the lounge. She was tall, had green eyes and pale skin. I didn't see her yesterday, for some reason. Maybe she likes to be alone.
"Good morning, Kaitlin," Caroline greeted her.
"Hi, good morning Caroline," she replied, walking toward the living room area and sitting down on a couch-like chair.
"Hey," Chandler said, "morning."
"Morning, what was for breakfast?" she asked.
"Eggs and sausages, but I rather wait for lunch," Chandler nodded."You must be Aubrey," she smiled, moving her red locks out of her face.
"Yeah, and I'm assuming you're Kaitlin?"
"Yes."
Why are these people so nice? Aren't they supposed to be all messed up like me? I don't get it.11:33 am
"Here's a tray, the plastic forks, spoons and knives are right there," Kaitlin stated, handing me a lunch tray.
I felt like I was in high school again.
"Thanks," I barely smiled.
"So, how old are you?" she asked.
"18, I graduated last year. And yourself?" I said while collecting my cutlery and lining up.
"Nice, but I'm 19, legal," she smirked.
Ah, the perks of living in Canada. We lined up to get lunch. It was fish and fries, I didn't know how to feel about that. I hope the food isn't bad.
Chandler whispered into my ear, "oh yeah, back to what I was saying. I was into MDMA, and drinking."
My eyes slightly widened, shocked at the fact that such an innocent looking boy could be into such hard drugs.
"Wow, I'm guessing you were quite the life of the party," I insensitivity joked.
He surprisingly chuckled back."How long have you guys been here?" I questioned, before grabbing my plate of food from the cooks and thanking them.
"I've been here for three days," Kaitlin answered, grabbing her soup.
"I came here the day before you," Chandler said, slowly making our way to the exit.
I slightly grinned, knowing we'd be here together for most of our stay.
