"Can someone play music, it's too quiet," Jimin said. Hobi stood up and went to the computer and played 'Best of Me'.
"Perfect, Minji was learning the steps to our song, let's teach her," Jungkook said, while everyone only had half of their food.
"Jimin, Hobi you're done eating help me teach Minji." Jungkook pointed them out. "Alright," Jimin answered.
Jungkook grabbed Minji's wrist and pulled her to the center of the studio. Step by step and beat by beat, they danced. The clock struck at 8 in the evening
"Let's treat Minji to dinner?" Suga asked, "Your money." Hobi said pointing at him. "Samyup for me, anyone else?" Jungkook raised his hand. "Nado (Me too)" Jimin raised his hand. "I'm okay with anything," Minji said willingly.
"I'll treat," RM proposed. "Wah, Hyung I love you," Jimin said as he stood up and gave RM a hug.
"Whose cars are we taking?" Jin asked.
"I'll drive Minji's car," V stated.
"Alright, Jungkook and Hobi ride with V and Minji. The others will ride with me," RM planned.
The street lights enlightened Seoul. A glowing moon made its appearance the moment they drove off. Adults going home to their families, some are walking home with fried chicken in their hands. Others are tired and in need of rest, another day they survived.
"Minji, what's your favorite song from BTS?" Jimin said looking at her. "Hmm, probably V's Stigma," she replied.
"Wah, you're so biased." Jimin teased her. "Pft, no I'm not," Minji argued, she directed her sight to Taehyung. The whole ride was like a question and answer. Smiles that could light up the night and laughter that could make you cry.
After the drive, they finally arrived.
"Looks like they got stuck behind," Taehyung was referring to the others. "Let's head in first," Hobi guided them.
The others arrived and so did the food.
Halfway in and everyone is still energetic, Jungkook was telling stories of how wrecked they were when they were trainees. The sound of beef and pork grizzling satisfied them. Overlapping music and conversations made it impossible to understand each other. The reel of smoke stuck on their apparel.
Dinner was concluded and Minji was tired, alcohol did nothing to her. Everyone was outside enjoying the fresh night breeze."You can sure hold your alcohol well," V said approaching Minji. She looked at him and gave him a warm smile "I'm tired, I'll head home now;"she held her hand out.
Taehyung didn't seem to understand, he held her hand and Minji was confused. She tried to play it cool and said "Haha, I meant my car keys."
"Oh sorry, I thought differently. Are you sure you'll drive home? I can drive you." V insisted.
"No it's alright, I just need to meet Eunwoo, he'll drive me home," she said without considering what Taehyung might misinterpret. "Eunwoo-" Taehyung said softly that only he could hear.
"Sunbaenim, I'll get going now." Minji bowed to the boys signaling her leave.
Minji got in her car and drove off, while the boys were waving her goodbye. "Why didn't you drive her home, Tae?" RM asked. "She said she could handle," Taehyung told his leader.
Minji drove to Fantagio Entertainment which was nearby.
She parked her car to the side and went inside to look for Eunwoo. As soon as she opened the door to the office she saw Eunwoo walking towards her. "Oh you're early," Minji said.
"No, I'm not you're just late," Eunwoo said as he took Minji's hand and placed it into his coat's pocket. "Aren't you cold, where's your coat?" Eunwoo asked Minji while they were walking towards her car. "It's in the car, I forgot, my bad." Minji said as she felt a cold breeze pass her.
The day after;
Taehyung woke up at 5 to work out. After working out he headed to his dorm to pick an outfit for this sophisticated day with Minji. "Hyung, should I wear a button-up shirt or a sweatshirt?" Taehyung asked for Jin's opinion. "Wear a vest over a sweatshirt, that'll suit you," Jin replied with a slice of half-eaten bread in his hand. "Taehyungie, do you have a date?" Suga asked V. "What if I do," Taehyung glared at Yoongi.
A phone call woke Minji up, it was her brother. "Minji ah don't forget to visit mom and dad," Minjun warned her. "Ah are you crazy, it's 6 in the morning. Why call me this early, I barely got any rest," she whined to her older brother. "Get up already and oh little sister doesn't forget to pick me up okay?" he said in a cunning tone. "I'll kill you first," Minji hung up.
Twist and turns on the bed, Minji couldn't go to sleep again. "Aish, Fine I won't sleep," she said, forcing herself to fully wake up.
Taehyung was sitting on the couch fully dressed waiting for Minji's call. "Am I that early?" he whispered to himself. "Yes you are," Jungkook whispered behind him. "Yah, brush your teeth" V used his hand to fan away the unpleasant morning breath of the beloved maknae.
