Minji was relieved that the controversy was sorted out but her best friend wasn't. Minji asked for her phone and she saw 16 missed calls from Cha Eun Woo. Suddenly another call from him,

"Hello" Minji answered. "Minji ah~ I'm sorry, I wanted you to debut as peaceful as possible." said Cha Eun Woo. "Dong min ah~ it isn't your fault, no one could've expected that. I got to go, wish me luck!" Minji quickly ended the call. Cha Eun woo felt guilty and had a plan.

Got7 was performing while Minji was waiting in the green room. She was watching the show through the screen in the room. "their performance is so detailed how am I suppose to beat that." Minji said in her mind. Staff were suddenly getting calls and it was chaotic, Minji asked one staff person "what's going on?" The person said "An article was posted about your output." Minji quickly checked her phone to see the headline "Big Hit's Princess"

Minji read the whole article but there was one paragraph she was worried about.

Newly soloist from BigHitEntertainment successfully debuts today. This lady was full of passion as she performs her debut album "Meraki." The performance was outstanding and memorizing. Although a small controversy occurred, an unknown person located in the audience suspected that idol Seo Minji and Idol Cha Eun Woo from Astro are dating. As this topic is unclarified we will wait for the agency's response.

Got7 finished their performance. After one commercial break it was time for Minji to go back up the stage. She hoped and prayed to get her first win but her competition is high. The staff instructed Minji to wait backstage with Got7. "Your album is beautiful"

Minji looked beside her to see Jinyoung who complimented her. "Thank you?" said Minji as she was starstruck. "Hello!" said Jackson in a friendly manner. Minji bowed and replied "Hello nice to meet you."

"Don't be nervous you'll win for sure." said BamBam at the back. "Thank you so much, but this win belongs to you guys." Minji insisted. Jinyoung was going to reply but the staff cut him off

"Time to go on stage"

Minji's stylist came to her to give her final touches as she walks to the stage. The MCs' who are going to announce the winners were Mamamoo's Solar and Seventeen's Minghao.

As the two MC's were reading their script Minji was looking at her brother cheering for her.

"Now for the moment you've been waiting for! The winner is..."

The crowd went wild and cheered loud, Minji was smiling so much that tears of joy were almost going to fall. She held the award and a bouquet of flowers as she says a small speech.

"Thank you so so so much, this was just a dream I was ready to throw away but because of your support I finally reached it. To my Min Mins thank you for your support and love, I will do my very best and make you all proud, Thank you!"
