Chapter 21

After stretching for a while Minji went to wash her hair and brush her teeth. It was time to pick an outfit, Minji was lost. "Why am I taking this long to pick an outfit? It isn't like this is a party or something, damn." she tried to motivate herself.  After 15 minutes, she finally decided on the outfit. She wore brown flare pants and a black long sleeve. 

Finally, she called Taehyung. 

"Hello?" V said to the phone. "Oh, sunbae I mean Taehyung. I'm ready but something came up. My manager called saying they need to dye my hair today for the show on Monday. If you don't mind you could come with me so that you wouldn't waste this day." she said hopefully.

"It's alright, I wouldn't mind. I just wanna spend this day with you," he said with no hesitation. Minji felt at ease as she heard those words, she's thankful for him. 

Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, and Hobi looked at V right after the call ended. "I just wanna spend this day with you." Hobi mimicked Tae. "Wah, that was romantic, Taehyun ah," Jin said while he approved with both his thumbs up. "Ya Taehyung ah who's the lady?" Jimin asked. "Oh shut up," he said as he was putting on his shoes. 

Minji was waiting in the lobby of her apartment building. Suddenly her phone rang, "Oh Oppa, what's up?" she asked Eunwoo. "I just wanted to check up on you, everything alright?" he asked. "Of course, everything's perfect," she replied. "Any plans today?" Eunwoo asked. "Yeah, I have to go to the salon this morning and I'm going to visit my parents," she said.

"Can I tag along?" Eunwoo asked, Minji needed to think it through. If she tells him no, he'll hurt; If she tells him she's with V he'll worry. It's better, to tell the truth before it's too late. 

"Oppa, Taehyung will accompany me today," she said as she scratched her head.

"Taehyung? Are you sure?" Eunwoo contemplated.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," she said with ease. The call was cut short because of Taehyung's arrival. 

"Did I make you wait?" V said gently. "No, not at all. Let's go" she replied,

Taehyung had to wait inside the lounge in the salon for Minji to finish. Meanwhile, Minji was having her hair dyed and chatting with the hairstylist. After about an hour Minji finished, she walked into the lounge wearing a cap and a hood. "What's with the disguise, it's just me," Taehyung asked Minji.

"I know, but my manager insisted. She said I could take it off in the car," she explained.

As soon as they settled in the car she took the cap and hood off. "Wah, that was hot," Minji said referring to the hat. "Wow, your hair suits you so well," he touched her new dyed hair. "I thought navy blue wouldn't suit me but it turned out so well," she couldn't help but be amazed.

"Want to grab a bite before we head to my home?" she asked. "I'd love to, but you'll be uncomfortable hiding your hair in public. Let's go somewhere private," he worried. "Where though?" Minji wondered. 

"I know a place, let me make a call," he responded. 

He drove off without letting Minji know where he'll take her. It wasn't a long drive, they arrived after a few minutes. "Where-" she got cut off. "This is a restaurant I and boys used to go to when we were trainees," he explained. 

Minji wore a hood up walking up to the resto to avoid any contact. Taehyung placed used his arm to block Minji from incoming people. Minji kept her head down and made it inside the resto. 

"Huh, there's nobody." she looked at Tae. "I called them to empty it out, don't worry. I treat the owner as my auntie so there's no problem." Taehyung held her hand and walked over to the table. 

Her eyes widened and her hand tightened. 'Should I shake his hand off? Or should I not bother?' she thought to herself. Before she could make a move they already sat down, "Are you on a diet?" a typical question for artists, Taehyung asked. "Not today," she said with a smile, knowing she could eat all she wants. 

Taehyung got close to Minji and pulled her hood down. "There's no one but workers, don't hide," he whispered. Inches away from her face Taehyung didn't seem to take it as a big deal. "Haha, your right." she laughed it off, 'Why do I feel fuzzy, what-' she couldn't help but think. 

"Everything alright?" he asked because of Minji's deep gaze. "Yeah, so what did you order," she asked. "I hope you like hotpot," he answered. 

Minji's hair was distracting as it suited her too well. It grabbed Taehyung's attention, 'she looks so pretty, should I compliment her?' he thought in mind. Keeping their thoughts to themselves the food arrived.
