Everyone was seated at the dining table. "Thank you for this meal," Taehyung said then Minji then so on. Eating the fresh homemade food from Minji's household, they felt cozy.
After some time, they finished their meal. Minji and Tae left early because Minji wanted to show V something. Minji was driving and they found themselves in a hidden alley, "Are you sure this is the way?" V didn't recognize the pathway. "Trust me," Minji drove and finally reached their destination. "Come on," Minji parked the car and got off. No one was around so Minji walked to the ledge and took a deep breath. "This is where I go when times get tough," Minji shared with V.
"I get why you would come here," a beautiful blue sky and the view of Seoul from afar. The wind made Minji's hood fly off, exposing her hair. Taehyung was astonished seeing this view of Seoul but he felt more at ease with Minji.
Minji puts her hands on the railing, suddenly she felt a warm touch. She looks down and saw Taehyung's hand overlapping hers. "I don't want this to end," he was out looking at the city. "Who says it has to?" Minji gives him a quirky smile.
They exchange looks and knew they wanted to make this day count. Minji skips to the car and tells V to get on. They make it to a small fair down in Myeongdong. "Are you sure?" he unbuckled his seatbelt. "Just put on the perfect disguise," Minji tucks her hair behind her ears and puts a bucket hat on. To top it off she puts the hood on, making her hair hidden. Taehyung puts a cap on and a mask.
Ready to go, they left the car and went to have some fun.
Their first stop was ring toss, you are given three hoops and if you make it in the bottle, a prize is given. "After you," V made Minji go first. "As you wish," she takes the three hoops and tried her best to at least get one. "Damn," Minji sighs. "My turn," V takes the hoops was able to land one on his second ring. Minji jumps up and down excitedly. Taehyung was able to land one hoop so they get a prize. He points at a blue Mockingjay bird stuffed animal and gives it to Minji. "Thank you," she accepts it with two hands and mimics a small curtsy.
The night went on, Minji and Taehyung were living out their evening. Until they were both tired, they went to a nearby cafe and bought chocolate frappes. "That was tiresome," Tae tells while Minji comes back with the drinks. "But fun," she sits in front of him. They both take a sip of their beverage and start conversations.
Taehyung was looking at Minji while she was staring out the window. Minji caught him staring, "What's up?" she puts her cup down. "Nothing just intrigued."
"Are you hungry?" she was about to propose something. "Kind of, but there won't be restaurants open at this hour."
"We can go to my place," Minji stands up with her drink. "If you please," Taehyung walks with her back to the car. Minji was about to open the driver seat door but Tae put his hand on it first, "I'll drive." Minji gives him the car keys and sits on the passenger seat.
They drove to Minji's apartment and made ramen. "We should try making our own recipe then giving them to each other," Minji said as soon as they arrive at her door. "You'll love mine," Tae was taking his shoes off. Minji takes her jacket off and throws it to the couch. The place was clean and aesthetic. Soft accents of color and very monotone.
"Very cozy," Taehyung was taking a turn around the room. "I'll take that as a compliment," she proceeds to the kitchen and grabs two packs of ramyeon. "Leave your coat on the couch, come on."
The scent of spicy noodles circled the room, so Minji opened the window to avoid the reek. "An egg doesn't that make it less spicy," Minji was snooping around Taehyung's cooking. "Just wait," he throws the eggshells in a trash bin.
"Bring yours here," Minji was waiting by the couch while sitting on the floor. "Smells good," Minji puts her face close to the ramyeon. "Wanna watch a movie?" Tae sat beside her. "While eating," He dusts off the dirt on his pants. "Sure," Minji grabs the remote on the couch behind them.
"What to watch," she was browsing through the sections in Netflix. "What type of movies do you like?" Tae was mixing the noodles Minji made. "Action, Sci-fi, mostly hero movies."
"And I took you for a girl who likes soft romances," Tae was cracking a joke. "Never judge a book with its cover," she hands Taehyung the remote. "Why me?" he took it. "I told you the genres I want, you pick something related." she takes the bowl of ramyeon and takes a sip.
