I didn't go into school for a few days after what happened with Jade. I kept running it through over and over again in my head and I got butterflies. The thing is I don't even like Jade. I hate her. I hate her. I hate her!! I hate that she made me say those words. I hate that she made me feel so good. I hate that she's confusing me like this. I turned over onto my stomach and screamed into my pillow. What is wrong with me? I'm so pathetic. Jade is probably having the time of her life as my understudy enjoying taking my place in rehearsals. It was a few days till the play there's still time to go rehearse with the group. Get up. I pushed my self up and out of bed finally. I already had learned all my lines it wasn't hard so I would have no problem rehearsing with the group, and Jade... I groaned and reached into my pile of clothes which had been kicked across the room earlier that week. I pulled out a long black hoodie, a black and white flannel, and a pair of black leggings. I finished it off with a choker and some eyeliner then left out the door. It was already approaching the afternoon I would get there in time for the rehearsals after lunch. The streets were quite most people at their jobs working. Occasionally an old person would walk by and offer me a smile, of course I returned the smile I'm not a monster. A chilling breeze swept away at my hair which made me realise that I hadn't washed it in a while. Crap... I pulled my hood up over my hair and hoped that no one would notice. Just to check I pulled out my phone to see take a look. I had a million notification from varies people at school. None from Jade. However she had likes some of my posts at late hours of the night. Suspicious. I brushed it off and opened up my camera to have a look.

"Oh god..." I accidentally said out loud in horror. I looked exhausted. Probably because I haven't slept well in a long time. I've been up all night thinking about Jade... Not because I'm in love with or anything. I hate her. I put my phone back away into my hoodie pocket and continued on walking. I eventually arrived at school and I stood outside the door. I contemplated just leaving and going back home but then the class room door opened.

"Oh Y/N you're here!" Robbie said. "Come on we've been waiting for you."

I pulled my hood down further over my forehead and locked my eyes on the ground as I walked into the classroom.

"Y/N!!" Cat squealed rushing over for a hug. Normally I would reject but I really needed this so I settled into her hug shutting my eyes tightly. I pulled away and saw everyone had stood up upon seeing me including Jade. She stated at me but I couldn't figure out how she was feeling about me being there.

"Where have you been? Is everything ok?" Tori asked stepping forward to talk to me.

"Yeah I'm fine..." I threw down my bag in a chair. "Let's just start rehearsing."

"Ok." Everyone got into their position to start rehearsing one of the scenes.

"Uh do you mind taking your hood down. Y/N?" Sikowitz added in. I didn't say anything but I took down my hood anyway.

"Are you sure you are ok?" Sikowitz asked concerned.

"Yeah you look really tired.." Tori pointed out.

"I'm fine let's just do this." I shook it off.

"ACTION!" Sikowitz yelled.

"I'm inspected Ghooleital. I was meant to be spending a nice weekend by the coast but now this body has been discovered I guess this is my job now." Beck said slipping some gloves over his hands. Everyone else stood around Robbie's dead body in shock and dismay.

"Where were you all at the time of the murder?" Beck said walking up and down the stage set.

"I was in the food carriage." Tori said.

"So was I." Andre stepped forward.

"And you?" Beck pointed towards me.

"I was in my room." I replied.

"Can anyone back you up on that?" Beck said pulling out a pen and a note book.

"You're not suggesting that my poor sister did this are you inspector?" Tori exclaimed.

"I'm just doing my job ma'm. Now I'll ask again, can anyone back you up on that." Beck stepped over Robbie's dead body and looked me in the eyes.

"No..." I answered.

"That's all I needed now everyone may leave." Beck dismissed us all off with his hand and we all left stage left. He continued with his part investigating the crime scene and then Sikowitz yelled cut and we started the next scene.

"DID YOU DO IT?!" Tori shouted rushing into the scene.

"What?" I innocently said.

"Did you kill him...?" Tori said moving closer to me till I was nearly against the wall.

"No! That is preposterous! Sister dear you know me." I said sincerely.

"You're right I'm sorry. This whole thing is just it's..." Her voice trailed off.

"No I understand you should get some rest." I smiled.

"You're right. Thank you Beth..." Tori turned her back to me and began walking towards the exit.

"You're welcome...Lotta..." I took my hands out from behind my back revealing a bloody blade. I raised the blade above my head and slammed it down into Tori's back. I delivered a sinister smile and the scene ended. There was a round of applause from everyone watching as I got down from the stage.

"That was great Y/N!" Sikowitz congratulated. "You'll do great in the performance tomorrow!"

"Wait...it's tomorrow?" I stopped dead the smile fading off my face.

"Yes? Did you not know?" He replied.

"No...I knew that. I have to go...practice my lines." I walked out the classroom and pushed my way through the crowded corridors. I finally managed to make my way into the bathroom. My parents were going to be in the audience. I need to show them that I can do this, I've already disappointed them so much. This is my chance, I have to get it perfect. I hunched over the sink and stared at my reflection in the mirror.

"Hey." Jades reflection appeared behind mine. My guard immediately went up.

"Don't worry I'm just here to talk." She said as she noticed this. I didn't say anything just turned around.

"Where have you been and be honest it's me." She asked. I still couldn't figure out how she was feeling.

"In bed." I replied crossing my arms over my chest.

"If you were in bed then how come you look so tired?" She examined me up and down.

"I have trouble sleeping..." I backed off away from her.

"You should try sleeping pills. Or sometimes when I can't sleep I take a walk. It helps clear the mind you know." She smiled slightly. That was the last thing I would have expected her to say. How am I supposed to reply to that?

"I'm not mad anymore you know. You're good. You deserve that part." She dropped her guard and let me into what she was feeling. She was sorry...

"Thanks. It means a lot..." I smiled looking back down to the floor. She put a hand on my shoulder.

"You know...-" She began talking but was interrupted but Tori and Cat rushing into the bathroom. Jade immediately pulled away from me and jumped backwards putting her guard back up.

"There you are we have been looking for you!" Tori said. "Are you coming back we have an hour left of rehearsal?"

"Oh...yeah...ok" I kept looking back and fourth from Jade to Tori.

"Let's go." She took me by the wrist and we all left out of the bathroom.
