Coffee Shop

I heard a knock. It must be Peter. I answer the door and there he was.

We walked to a coffee shop and we sat by a window.

"I'm so sorry for not coming to your dance." He says.

"It's fine really." I tell him.

"Wow you were really different from the last time we saw each other." He says.

"Wha- um it would be great if you didn't mention that." I say and laugh nervously.

"I didn't come out clean before. I actually had a girlfriend when I was on that date." He says.

"I didn't realize how much of a child you are. Grow up. You don't understand that having a girlfriend means that you can't hit on other girls. I feel sorry for her." I say to him.

"Thanks. You know other girls wouldn't care if I told them that I had a girlfriend." He says.

"Wait ... you did this more than once?!" I yell at him. "Now let's make this clear I don't think of you as a love interest."

"I know. You just used me to make that white haired guy jealous." He says.

My cheeks flush with redness. "No that wasn't for me! T-that was for revenge for my friend!" I argue back.

"Sure. Well look at the time I've gotta see Wendy." He says and rushes off.

Wendy? Probably another chick.

The bell chimes as someone enters the shop. Jack.

He takes the seat that Peter had which is right in front of me.

"The seat is still warm. Did someone sit here?" He asks.

"That would be Peter Pan." I answer back.

"Are you serious?!" Jack yells annoyed "How much dudes are going to go after you? This is turning into a reverse harem."

"No it was quite friendly." I tell him.

"I'm just glad that you can friendzone people quickly." He says. "Hopefully I'm not in that horrifying place in your head."

"You wouldn't mind though. If you were in the friend zone." I say and smile.

"Of course I would mind." He says.

"I-I gotta go." I tell him I get up and just when I'm about to leave Jack holds my wrist.

"Don't go. You ordered two coffees right? You can't make me pay for it by myself." Jack says then smiles.

I chuckle. "Yeah ... you're right."

I sit back down.

"Hey Jack ... thanks for you know taking care of me and that." I tell him looking away from his face.

"Well it's nice to see you well again." He responds.

We talked all day since 6.

We walked out to the front of the shop. "Bye." I say and smile.

Jack gazes into my eyes and forms a small sincere smile.

"What are you smiling about idiot!?" I yell at him.

"Your smile is contagious." He says.

Should I thank him?

What he did next was unexpected.

Jack pulls me in for a hug. He embraces closely and digs his head into my shoulder. "Sorry but the truth is ... I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. And my patience was wearing thin." He says.

He lets go and just says, "Sorry." And he leaves. I just stood there frozen. Not knowing what to do.

Jack Frost

As I thought Elsa may look cold but her embrace was warm.

I go back home and I bang my head on the wall.

I bang my head. "What ..."

I bang my head again. "The ..."

I bang my head once again. "Hell !"

Why did I do that? 
She's going to avoid me again!
For crying out loud Frost!

"Get it together." Someone says.

"James." I say in distaste.

"You are such a wimp. You haven't said those three words yet." He says. "I'm catching up to her Jack. Because I'm much more of her type."

"Didn't you know?" I laugh "Perverts aren't her type."
