rainbow dash's little tricks and pranks to make you blush seemed harmless at first. she would hold your hand at random times and smirk at you in class. whatever she tried always turned you into an embarrassed, red mess.

she would never admit it, but seeing you get so flustered and squirmy was cute. hence why she began to make it a reoccurring mission.

her reward was simple: your reaction.

- once you decided to stay and watch rainbow's sports practice. she was in the middle of a round of soccer with her teammates and you were sat on the bleachers, silently cheered for your girlfriend. rainbow dash quickly turned to you and winked before kicking the ball.

it was a small, flirtatious gesture that made you sharply take in a breath and freeze up. rainbow dash would catch glimpses of you during the game; she saw how the littlest things she did made you nervously look away—soon your reactions became her good luck charms.

- during a walk you had suggested a few hours earlier, your fingers would continuously grazed rainbow's hand. it was obvious you wanted to hold her hand, but you were too shy to act on it—she picked up on that.

when your fingers once again breezed over hers, rainbow dash took your hand into her own. she brought your hand up to her lips and placed a delicate kiss on the back of it—all while maintaining eye contact with you.

your mouth was slightly agape and your eyes were wide; a crimson tint generously coated your cheeks. rainbow dash smiled into the kiss and gently lowered both of your hands. "oh, look! ice cream!" she pulled you along while acting as if nothing had happened. however, the smirk plastered on her face said otherwise.

- another occasion was when you were with your friends; the entire group was together. you all decided to go get frozen yogurt at a shop pinkie pie had suggested. it was overall fun—eating while laughing and making stupid jokes.

rainbow dash glanced over to you; you sat right beside her. she peered down at your lips and smiled, "oh, (name), you've got chocolate on your face." rainbow gently turned your face towards her and wiped it off your cheeks with her thumb—all while being way too close.

"rainbow!" you swatted her hands away and she laughed. your face flushed and you looked anywhere but your group of friends. you were just glad they were too busy talking to overhear the conversation... or so you thought. applejack relentlessly teased rainbow dash the rest of the evening while you weren't looking.

- on a weekday, during a meeting with the rest of rainbow dash's sports team, your girlfriend had brung you along with her. you had been reluctant to come, but rainbow convinced you to stay awhile and she would drive you home after.

she was in the midst of a conversation with her team—talking strategy for the upcoming game. you walked past her to go take a seat in the back before rainbow dash stopped you. she didn't say anything to you—instead, she continued talking to the group.

however, whilst continuing conversation, rainbow dash kept her hand on your wrist and lead you to take a seat on her lap. her team stared confusingly at the two of you, but rainbow didn't acknowledge anything. she acted as if nothing had happened while she placed her hands on your hips.

you were silent and didn't move from where your girlfriend wanted you—too embarrassed to do anything about the situation. the floor was suddenly very interesting as you nervously stared at it. you felt like melting while a crimson hue painted your cheeks and your thighs were tightly pressed together.

it was almost nonexistent, but a small smirk and a mischievous glint glimmered in rainbow's eyes as she nonchalantly explained techniques to the team.

though, at the end of the day, rainbow dash will apologize if she went too far—only for you to giggle at her sudden mood swings and reassure her you're fine.

she'll cling to you as soon as you two are alone and softly tease you for getting so flustered. you end up throwing pillows at her until she starts apologizing again and you both are laughing.

"i'll make it up to you if you meet me in the bedroom." rainbow dash leans into your ear before walking to her room—and you're left standing there, flustered once again.
