"Come on mate you have to tell her at some point! Your hair is always purple when she's around. You know Mallory will want to know at some point what your hair color means." James says to his best friend.
"I know but it's kind of embarrassing, to say the least James," Teddy replies watching as Madeline rests her head in Jame's lap.
"Madeline, are you ever in the Ravenclaw common room?" he asks raising a purple eyebrow.
"Sometimes when I have to study but mostly no because the teachers are kind of afraid of me because I am Bellatrix's daughter so I kind of have free reign." the black-haired beauty answers.
"Okay, fine never mind Cissy, just help me figure out what to do," Teddy says nervously running a hand through his purple hair.
"Alright, since she's too young for Hogsmeade just take her up on the Astronomy Tower and talk to her but bring hot chocolate," Madeliene suggested.
"Fine, I'll tell her," he says sighing.
Later that night at dinner Teddy taps Mallory on the shoulder his hair instantly going purple, and he says, "Mallory, I was wondering if I could talk to you later on the Astronomy Tower?"
"Of course I'd love to," she replies with a smile.
Mallory meets Teddy on the Astronomy Tower and he greets her stepping from the shadows with purple hair streaked with yellow for his worry and green for being scared to share his feelings.
"Hey, Mal, I'm glad you came. There's something I've been meaning to tell you about my purple hair."
Pink is now added to his already very colorful head for embarrassment.
"Yes, Teddy, what is it?" Mallory asks softly.
"My purple hair means I am in love with you. I know you are still pretty young but I just thought you should know."
"Well, I like you too Teddy, and I always sorta have I just was afraid to tell you because you wouldn't feel the same."
Before Teddy has time to process her confession and his own Mallory Malfoy kisses him and his hair adds light blue for excitement, and orange for the confusion but the orange fades away quickly. Returning to light blue streaks in his purple hair.
When the Malfoy and Lupin let go of each other's lips both are smiling and happy with euphoria from the kiss.
