(Shannon)

"Scarlett, stop yelling at your sister! You know what she can do if she gets angry!" my mom yells at us as we argue.

"You'll be a Slytherin Scar, because don't forget you're part Malfoy!"

"Bloody hell my daughter in Slytherin! Now there's a proposition I don't know if I or mum and dad can stomach."

"Stop it, Ron, you should be supportive and loving of Scarlett no matter what her house is."

"I will be. But honestly a Weasley in Slytherin that would be extraordinary Ells!"

"Don't act so surprised Ron, I'm a Malfoy and I got sorted into Gryffindor, so don't be so shocked if our daughter ends up in Slytherin or any other house."

"I won't be a Slytherin I am a Weasley I'll be in Gryffindor," Scarlett says angrily.

I can feel my hands getter warmer and my cheeks gain color and I hear a male voice in my ear one I don't recognize, "Conceal don't feel. Don't let it show. Fear and anger will be your enemy, while there is great beauty in your power there is also grave danger Shan."

My body relaxes but my dad looks at me and says, "Shannon, you alright? You're deathly pale looks like you've seen a ghost."

"I'm not so sure I didn't have one whisper in my ear just now," I say matter of factly.

The car falls silent and finally, my mother says, "Shannon, remember when I told you why you are special?"

"Yes, mum I remember."

"The voice in your ear did it have a sort of thick Irish accent?" she asks me with an odd look in her eyes.

"Yes."

"That was your real dad then he was Irish and he had your fire powers. He loved you so, so much and wants you to protect your gift as much as you can."
