Chapter Twenty Three- Shannon's Weakness

This chapter is going to be a bit different at first guys it will start with Ella and ghostly Seamus then go back to regular.

(Ella)

While attending to one of my patients at St. Mungo's as a healer I feel a sudden surge of warmth and coldness engulf me, it's an odd feeling to have at the same time. My patient has severe frostbite and I finish giving them their medicine and nursing the wounds.

The strange sensation happens again and I leave the room with the feeling following me until I am in my office with the door shut trying to relax myself, I almost scream when I see a ghost in front of me.

"Don't be scared Kitten, it's just me."

"Seamus!" I say with a pang of sadness in my tone.

"Ella, there's something I need to tell you and it's not good I'm afraid so I need to tell you now."

"What is it?! Is it my babies?" I ask becoming scared for Scarlett and Shannon.

"It's about Shannon. She's fine but because of how badly your aunt tortured me her powers can't protect her the way mine could from the cold. Her powers can only protect her so much until she dies from the cold."

"But why? How?"

"When we created her my powers were probably weakened because Voldemort froze me and I had to unthaw, however, if she's careful she'll be alright. I promise."

"What about the iron?" I ask crying.

"It will also harm her more because of what happened to me if she touches it and doesn't know she is for a long period of time she will die."

Regular 3rd Person

Shannon and Scarlett are outside walking with Albus and Scorpius in the snow playing around as they walk. Shannon picks up a snowball with her bare hands and throws it at her cousin Scorpius who shouts, "Oh, bring it, Shan, bring it! Be glad the Marauders aren't out here they get brutal in snowball fights!"

"I will Malfoy, I will!" she says grabbing another snowball.

Scarlett grabs one and chucks it at Albus and smiles at the shocked expression on his face. The kids continue for a while until Scorpius says, " Do You Want To Build A Snowman?"

They all nod and start to roll some balls for a snowman halfway through Shannon becomes light-headed, "Hey, Scar, I don't feel so good."

"You're just cold you'll be fine. You can make yourself warmer than the rest of us calm down!"

Shannon keeps going ignoring the lightheadedness and the aches in her hands until she mumbles, "Scorpius, I want my dad!" and passes out.

"Al, Scarlett, something is very wrong we have to take her to Madame Pomfrey!" Scorpius says, trying to be the brave one of the group.

"We need to get her into the castle where it's warm by the fire! That's all I know." Scarlett says.

"Wingardium Leviosa," Scorpius says levitating her behind them.

When they arrive in the Gryffindor common room they find Madeline and James snogging on the couch almost naked, "Ew guys get a bloody room!"

James breaks the kiss and suddenly his girlfriend says, "Jamie, look it's Shannon!"

"We need to get her to The Prefect's bathroom immediately the water is always hot in there." James gushes.

"Where's Teddy? He can help warm her up if he goes into werewolf form."

"Good question Madeline. I'll go find him in the meantime get her to the Prefect's bathroom!"

Shannon's family takes her to the prefect's bathroom and they take her down from the levitation charm, the girls strip her clothes and place her in the bathtub filled with warm water. James and Teddy arrive and they all sit down waiting and watching for Shannon to get better.

Madeline buries her face in her boyfriend's chest and he wraps his arms around her feeling her long silky black locks tickle his skin. 

"Guys! Look!" Albus yells, pointing to his cousin in the water.

Shannon's eyes open and she looks around the room saying, "I don't know what happened but I feel much better!"

Everyone laughs including Seamus Finnigan's fire heiress who was lucky to be alive considering how she almost met the same fate her father did.
