Chapter 6- Prom Date

'Cedric!, we found the portal but we can only activate during prom, the red full moon' yelled Twilight while banging on Cedrics dorm door waiting for him to open up
'It's 12 am what do you want it's not like we will activate it today ugh?' He replied sleepily
'Alright go back to sleep' sighed twilight.
The next morning
Esmeray bumped into Viper
'Hello' he said
'Gah, hi um you were in my way' she replied
'Too much god complex' he smirked and just left
Mean while Twilight was picking a prom dress forgetting that she has physics .
On the other hand Cedric was skipping class and having fun before he saw Esmeray it was the first time after the library encounter 'My darling treasure' he joked getting her attention, 'very funny' Esmeray rolled her eyes. He stared deep into her soul before saying anything 'your eyes are beautiful' he was too busy admiring her 'do you want our kids to have em?' she whispered. Cedric was too stunned to speak and before he knew it she disappeared.
After class
'Pstt come here' whispered Viper around the corner
'What?' Esmeray whispered back
'Follow me' he whispered again
Esmeray followed Viper and the last thing you know they are on the roof of their school watching the sunset
'It's pretty' said Esmeray softly
'Just like you' flirted Viper
His next question left Esmeray happy for the rest of the day.
'Would you like to go to prom with..me?' he asked with hesitation
Esmerays eyes widened
'Um yes,yes I would love to' she exclaimed
'That's great!' He said excited
And then they had the longest eye contact getting closer and closer to each other,as he pulled in for a kiss by her neck Esmeray backed off.
'No I can't kiss nor date you.. a Viperion' she looked down
'Why not?'he asked
'Cause.., now excuse me I have to go' and she left as usual with no explanation.
2 days till prom
While the 3 friends were having food, they talked about dates
'Do you have a date?' Asked Cedric
'Yea.. It's Viper' Replied Esmeray hesitantly
Cedric nearly choked on his food
'Viper huh? will his kids have your eyes too?' Twilights eyes widened- Cedric continued 'OH well' he had jealousy in his eyes 'I am going with Twilight' he replied confidently.
Twilight spat out her food
'WHAT?'
'Well good for you 2' said Esmeray with a smile
'But I-' stopped twilight when Cedric spoke putting his hand over her mouth.
'Alright see you later' he said dragging Twilight with him.
'You have to be my date for prom' he demanded
'Why should I?!' She replied angrily
'Cause she's everything i want and she doesnt see me the way i see her so i have to snap back at her' he said stubbornly
'Ugh whatever' twilight said as she walked away.
