Chapter 7- Help?

The next morning Esmeray Twilight and Cedric went to the place where the portal was.
'So this is it?' Asked Cedric unamused
'Yea we have to activate it tho with moon energy but how? We don't know' Twilight sighed
'I can help' said a proudly voice from the dark
'Wha-, VIPER?!' Asked Twilight confused
'I know a lot about these machines that even none of the books have the information written particularly the one you found' he said with a sly smile
'We have to wait for the red moon then use the moon ring to reflect it from the red moon and an energy cycle will form'
'Right, so you are saying you will help us? But how can we trust you?' Said Esmeray with suspicion
'Your choice as you can see I told you the way so you know I am on your side plus youre my date after all' he winked. Cedric was cerainly fed up.
'Alright but how do you know about this place?did you follow us?' Asked Cedric
'Maybe maybe not and again I know a lot so yea we just need a moon ring that's all and the portal is yours' he said beaming a smile
'So we wait?' Asked Twilight
'Yes' said Viper
'Prom is tomorrow so won't be long' said Esmeray
Next morning
'No school today so you and I can pick out dresses for prom' said Twilight excited
'Ugh I just got up' whined Esmeray
'Cmon it will be fun!' Twilight dragged Esmeray to the big pile of dresses that she bought but still didn't choose which one she will wear.
'This white one will suit you!' Try it on'
Esmeray tried on the dress looking amazed
'Wow it actually does'
'Told ya!' Now help me this black one or this black one with sparkles?' Asked Twilight
'The sparkly black one definitely' replied Esmeray
'Oh my' muttered Twilight as she tried it on
'I look sexy' she said proudly
'Oh yeah you do' said Esmeray with a smile
They giggled and joked around till it was late.
