That early morning in my room, I dreaded the terror of attending school and I do remember it was a heck of a day. That was the shortest amount of sleep I ever had throughtout my memorable fifteen years and till this day I will always regret it. Misfortune took place that day, all because my ridiculous behavior, know one died but Kazumi-San refused to, I'll let you figure it out for your self.
I groaned to myself as I stretched on the pink leather couch. I didn't sleep on my bed today, I was too rebellious to continue my usual routine. School was going to be a drag so I made it my duty to take my sweet time. I miserably dragged my feet along the cold hard surface. I sniffed a selection of my silky lilac hair as I made sure to wash it. It didn't reek but the faint smell of Goji berry and Cranberry fruit dissatisfied my sense of smell. I hated the smell of non-smelling shampoo in my hair so whenever my the natural fruits sweated out of my scalp, I made sure to wash it again so people could smell my hair a mile away. Not literally, that was absurd. I gently massaged my soapy hands to my scalp; I had a soft scalp so I had to be careful, besides I was still recovering from my severe head injury. Wait, I didn't explain that part did I? Oops! A couple of months ago, I was riding on my bicycle. Ren-San and Kazumi-San sent me to the local store and when I say local, I mean two and a quarter miles away. We lived in a small village, that's why all the villagers were so closed with one another. We traded with each other, did favours for each other, we were like one big community. Maybe something like a family also. Anyway, our village was far away from everything and everyone else so I rode my bike, my parents car broke down so their was a little bit of a problem. On my way there, I crossed a skinny dusty road, it led to the isolated forest, the forest was kinda scary because it was infested with the wildlife. I know mum told me never to come here but I had to disagree, It was a quick shortcut. There was no way I was going to take the long way around and besides the forest wasn't a bad area. It wasn't like there were creepy rapists, homo-phobic serial killers or ancient myths like what people expected. Like I said, this was a small village, everyone knew everyone so it was all good. It was a forest with dangerous animals, not big animals though just the normal like bats, mice, rabbit eaters etc. Long story short, whilst I rode through the forest I got bitten by a snake, luckily it was none venomous but It still hurt. I remember the pain was unbeatable, I forgot about all of that when I fell of my bike and my poor head rebounded into a thick oak tree though. Blood trickled from my temple whilst I yelped in pain. Fortunately there were a couple of campers down by the lake. They must of heard my noise because they came to me, with a first aid kit whilst the ambulance came. After that I was forbidden from going through the forest, the forest owner even put signs on the trees about the wild animals. Snapping out of my thoughts I stepped out the shower, doing the normal human daily routine. I dried, I lotioned and put on my school uniform. We wore a white blouse, covered by our black logod blazer. I wore a small pleated black skirt and to cover my small pale legs, I wore my tall knee high socks. Like every other girl in my local school, we stretched our socks to our thighs rather than our knees. After dressing myself from head to toe, I patterned my lips with a little Chinese balm as I rubbed my smooth skins together. I grabbed my pink and white zeletoile backpack as I creeped downstairs. I still was in no mood to talk to my parents. I didn't care that I needed them to drive me to school, I'd walk two miles myself. I needed no one, I couldn't rely on anyone especially not them.
Running out the door, I gently closed the door as I sprinted onto the pavement. I groaned loudly to myself as I noticed the gloomy grey skies, I knew what was coming, rain of course. I sighed to myself as my stomach began grumbling, I needed food, immediately. I could go back home but I felt like it wasn't an option, that place now had a new name and it was hell. The heavy raindrops patterned onto my blazer and blouse soon enough soaking through my clothes and giving me a shock. It was obvious I was going to end up with a cold. My freshly washed hair was now being drenched in water, how fucking awesome is that? I could already feel it, today wasn't going to be my day.
Hearing the engine of a car slowly creeping behind me my heart jumped inside. I was way too scared to turn around what if it was my parents were there, there was no way I was jumping in that car. I quickened my pace as I rounded the muddy corner to hear the same familiar car engine following me. "Kiyoko!" I heard a masculine voice yell from behind. I released a deep breath in relief as I realised this voice wasn't my father's, neither the voice of his friend's. It was the voice of the youth, Sadao. I turned my head to be greated with his beautiful smile. God, he was so beautiful. He had messy gelled long hair, which gave his hair the wet look yet it was still voluminous and it was always so hard to tell which colour his hair was, black or brown? He had pale smooth skin, with mesmerising brown eyes, and pink lips. This man was a god! he wore his normal attire the usual gym clothes, that was no surprise considering he did do yoga. Oh yeah remember when I said they're were cute guys at my mums yoga class, he was one of them. "Sadao!" I yelled as I opened his car door and jumped in the car. I was kinda glad I didn't have to walk to school. "What you doing out here in the rain? Ain't your parents taking you to school?" he questioned with a concerned look, I knew the question was going to come up but what could I do, get out the car? "Don't worry about it, we just got into a little argument" I sighed looking away from him, I wasn't in the mood to talk, I just wanted to get to school already. "You okay?" he asked rubbing my small arm with his big masculine hands. "Yeah I'm okay, can you turn up the heat please?" I asked as I stared at my dripping hair. "Sure" he answered turning the heat up. I was so cold right now. "You look pretty today" Sadao complimented with a genuine smile. That made me feel a little better, "Really? You think so? Even looking all... you know wet and sick?" I asked smiling. "Of course, you always look beautiful to me" he smiled to me, "Thank you" I thanked him as I leaned over to him to kiss him on the cheek. If any of my auntie's, uncle's or parents saw me with a boy they'll kill me. Especially since he's older than me also since he's apart of Ren-San's yoga class. She or Kazumi don't know that me and Sadao had a thing going on. "Alright we're here" Sadao announced as he drove into visitor car park. Finally stopping I gave Sadao a quick hug, he smelt so good. "I'll see you later" he calmly spoke as he lowered his hand to my waist. "Yeah, bye Sadao" I waved to him as I left to go to, school. "Wait!" he interrupted as he grabbed my arm, I fell back into his arms as he planted a soft kiss on my lips. The feeling was so overwhelming and magical that I couldn't help but blush. Snapping back to reality I climbed out the car as I waved bye to Sadao and ran upto the step of the local school. I gently pushed the doors open as I walked into the dull building to be greeted with the adventourous eyes that showed hurt, the curved wrinkles that showed distress, the tight lips that showed annoyance and the manky frown on her disturbed face showed trauma .
