"Sweetheart, plz stop it..."

Veeranshu was sleeping peacefully when a loud but sweet music, probably of Dil Ibadat disturbed him. Yesterday had been pretty tiring for him as the deal papers had some problems and so he had to stay in the office till late night to correct it and set everything alright. Bani was also busy yesterday with some new project and came home late. Now, after such a tiring day, he didn't like when someone intervened his sleep. He sat up irritated and looked around to see Bani searching for something.

V: *irritated* Kya hai Sweetheart?!...

B: *briefly looking at him* Sorry Cutu, wo mera mobile baj raha hai, but I am not getting it... *searching for the mobile* Maine mobile ko kuch der pehle speaker se connect kiya tha as I was going to take it downstairs, but ab mobile baj raha hai aur speaker pe sound aa raha hai and I can't spot my mobile anywhere...

V: *searching on the bed* Ruko main dekhta hoon... *getting it under the pillow* Ye raha, DD ka call hai... Oh, call kat gaya...

B: *smiling apologetically* So sorry, mere wajah se tumhara neend kharab ho gaya... *taking her mobile from his hand* Tum sojao fir se, I will not disturb...

V: *moving his head sideways* No no, it's not needed... I am awake... Good Morning...

B: *sitting at the corner of the bed* Yaa, Good morning...

Bani called back DD.

B: Good Morning DD, bol...

DD: .....

B: *smiling* Obviously yaad hai...

DD: .........

B: *laugh* Isme kaunsi nayi baat hai?! Har saal hota hai, to iss saal bhi hoga..

DD: ......

B: *glancing at Veer* Haa wo bhi hoga, Yeah okay.... Byeee....

Veer was looking at her confused. The moment she cut the call, he asked her about the matter.

V: Kya baat hai?!... Har saal hota hai, main bhi rahunga, kya?!..

B: *happily* Kal Shrads ka birthday hai... Hum har saal raat ke 12 baje vc pe uska birthday celebrate karte the, aur agar main unke ghar mein hoti thi to waha karte the... So, DD was saying ki iss saal bhi waisa hi plan hai, and you should also be there...

V: *smiling* Oh achha... Yeah, I will obviously be there... Anyways, I should go freshen up now...

B: Haa, tum jao... Main bhi chali ready hone.. Aj aur ek branch pe meeting hai, I should be on time...

They both smiled at each other, and went to get ready in their respective rooms.

Bani and Veer were busy in their own works for the whole day, and didn't get time to talk to each other much. They only talked for few seconds once when Veer had called her to ask if she had her lunch. Bani felt blessed everytime he cared about her little things. They happily finished their work and came back home.
