Veer entered the house calling her name. After many years he had gone for running today, credits- Bani's gifted fitbit. He felt fresh after the run and came back home with a jolly mood. Bani came out from the kitchen hearing his calls.
B: Kya hai Veer?! Chilla kyun rahe ho?!...
V:Sweetheart... This fitbit is amazing, I must say... Kitne dino baad running karne gaya, sab iss fitbit ke wajah se...
B: I am glad that you loved it...
V: Let me give you a hug for this...
B: *scrunching her nose* Iishh Veer, haal dekha hai apna?!... Paas mat aana mere, jao nahane....
Veer laughed and went upstairs. He had sensed a sadness in her voice, and thus didn't trouble her much.
At the breakfast table, Bani was unusually quite today. Veer kept on talking, but she just smiled or hummed in response. Anyone else would not understand the matter if they were present there, but Veer being Veer understood that something was bothering her. He decided to ask her about it once they came back from office.
