"-and remember your homework is due on Friday. Have a nice rest of your day."

Students filed out of the room, mingling amongst each other. Psychology class was especially boring today, they all thought in tandem. Usually the professor would try to make it a bit more engaging, but she was clearly off of her game today.

Amya stretched out, popping her back as she trudged to the cafeteria. She had missed lunch due to a meeting with one of her liberal professors and she was feeling the consequences. Her stomach was practically on its metaphorical knees, begging for sustenance. She had half the mind to punch her own gut.

"Sakusa!" She turned at the voice, smiling at her fellow classmate. Aiko Alisa had always been very nice to Amya and they were rather helpful, often offering to help Amya with the homework. "Do you want to join my study group tonight? To get the work done?"

"I was actually going to help my friend out with his practice after eating, but maybe tomorrow I could join you guys?"

They started walking together down to the cafeteria, where students with late lunches or early suppers were crowding. Alisa nodded with a bright smile, their baby blue bangs falling into their face. They brushed them away with a chuckle. "Sure thing! See you then!"

They rushed off and Amya went about buying her food. She settled at a lone seat on the outskirts of the cafeteria, avoiding the boisterous middle of the large room. She started on her bread, checking her phone. Kiyoomi had texted her.

Amya definitely was not complaining. Since her first year at Tokyo University, she had been rather close with Hinata Shōyō. He and her brother were on the same volleyball team and, even if Shōyō wasn't in university, he would practise in the gymnasiums with the team. (Kiyoomi and Bokuto went to the university, so they had permission from the dean.)

She wasn't a manager, but Kiyoomi had convinced his coach that Amya had no ill intentions (by outing her and saying "She has no one to tell") and she was merely there to watch him and his friends play. Not even Bokuto's partner was allowed into the practices, but that was mostly because Bokuto flubbed his many attempts to schmooze the coach.

She quickly ate and made sure it was just after four before she started towards the smaller gymnasium. Shōyō had told her the other day that they were using the smaller gym while the basketball team used the larger of the two.

She pushed the doors open and dodged a volleyball that had been flying directly at her face. "I thought you were getting better," she jokingly shouted.
