hi.

i bet you all are hexing me.  and i am halfway apologetic.

i am going to be putting 'like like' on an indefinite hiatus.

as much as i adore this story, i do not enjoy writing it.  i have lost the will, i guess, to continue the story and have unfortunately come to a point where i have no idea how to continue it.  i want to focus on my personal life as well as future projects that i am more invested in as well.

i know that if an author of a book where one of my characters was featured suddenly stopped updating and never gave an explanation, i would boycott them.  because i am a petty person.

and here's where this chapter is important.

i want to give this story to another author, someone far more talented than me and willing to finish this story as far as we've come with it (which, unfortunately, is not very far in the grand scheme of things).

anyone is free to come forward and claim this story, but i truly want it to go to someone willing to keep it alive.  its also fine if no one actually wants to read it and is all like 'NO!  YOU WROTE IT SO YOU HAVE TO FINISH IT!'

which is harsh but fair.

so there is an alternative, if no one wants to keep the story going.

i spoil it.

not kidding here.  i literally give you the notes i wrote back in august about this book and i will give short endings to each and every character, for closure.

because that seems like the best option to me.
