ash x eiji

The airport

As Ash is running to the airport thinking he is going to miss his flight with Eiji and he gets stabbed, he just instantly falls to the ground and he lies there, frozen knowing he won't be able to see his one love again and never get the proper goodbye he knew Eiji deserved, although ash never wanted to have to say goodbye to Eiji because he was his love, his whole world. As he laid there staring at the sky wondering how he could let this happen, his eyes slowly close and he whispers "I'm so sorry Eiji. i.. I love you.." Barely even speaking. But he kept repeating himself over and over again starting to cry and getting louder and louder each time even though he was alone on this path he kept saying it hoping Eiji would know in his heart that Ash really did love him and he needed him to live, which is why he simply let himself slip away, thinking Eiji was long gone, lying on the ground crying yelling out his love for Eiji. Little did Ash know that Eiji wasn't ready to give him up quite yet, Eiji had left the airport and ran back to try and find Ash, hoping he was at the hideout and as Eiji is walking away from the hideout with no sign of Ash, he pulls out his phone to call back Ibe-san after missing many of his calls, Eiji takes a few deep breaths trying to stop crying just for a moment so he can get back to Ibe-san and head home when Eiji hears a familiar voice... "I'm so sorry Eiji.. I.. lo..." and the second Eiji realized it was Ash he was yelling out for ash but he was too far gone, he wasn't responding but Eiji thought that Ash couldn't die, he just couldn't. He looked for him and after a moment, he found him lying on the ground, with Eiji's letter in hand. With tears in his eyes Eiji goes to call an ambulance as Ash opens his eyes to look at Eiji, he shows a small smile and slowly lifts his hand to Eiji's. "Ei..ji... Sa...yo..na..ra.." Ash says with a single tear dripping down his face and Eiji cries, even more, telling Ash to hold on for just a little while longer. Eiji starts calling Ibe-san to let him know what happened, he grabs ahold of Ash's hand, holding as tightly as possible. As they wait for the ambulance, Eiji talks to Ash the whole time, telling him about all the times he enjoyed with Ash and as he sits there holding Ash and laughing at the good times and crying, Ash looks at him again and smiles. He looks into Eiji's eyes with nothing but love and hope and just as Ash starts to lose consciousness, Eiji leans down, hugging him and whispers "Ash Lynx, I love you, I love you more than anything in this whole world.. You're my lifeline, so I really need you to not die on me right now.. Please" he says, crying as the ambulance finally makes it to them and they're rushed to the hospital.
