Karljacobs: Acronyms are cool and all and sometimes they're super useful and quick, but sometimes I feel like some things shouldn't be shortened. Like "idk, lmao, brb" I'm fine with because they're just a quick way to react but sometimes shortening "ily" feels cheap :(
Karljacobs: Like if you want to tell someone you love them, and ACTUALLY mean it, can't you just take the time to type it out fully :( It only takes a few seconds but I just think it means so much more when you don't shorten it. Same with ilyt like I hate it when I tell someone that I love them and they just reply with that. I feel like they don't mean it. It's like they don't actually like me as much as I like them. It probably sounds dumb but I like seeing it complete and not just four letters. Like love is four letters and so is ilyt, but just the word love is still so much more meaningful even without accounting for the other words in I love you too.

Dream honestly did feel really bad about it. He never thought too deeply about it, but he does understand where Karl's coming from, and he feels terrible about it.
Who knew shortening something could have such a huge impact.

He was glad he said something. Glad that he decided on a whim to message Karl today. Glad that all those months ago he accepted Karl into the SMP, giving them a gateway to friendship. Said friendship now laced with love for each other.
Honestly, he couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Dream leaned back, taking it all in before returning to Karl's messages. He was more than ready to try something new with such a lovely soul.
He clicked on the call button, and within seconds Karl answered.
