Chapter 13

Finally the weekend is close! Since the little incident at the start of the week the Silver moon pack have stayed well away, almost like they were being cautious. Weird right?

Caleb's taking me to meet his parents tonight, and if that wasnt nerve racking enough their also my Alpha and Luna! It's weird that I haven't already met them but to be fair I only found out I was a damn werewolf a week ago. I think I'm doing ok. The times looming ever closer to my birthday next month, also the night of my first change and I'm scared. Ok so scared isnt the right word . I'm frickin terrified. Caleb said he'd help me so I guess I just got to trust him.

I've never been in a place were I've belonged so much in my life feeling loved, I live in a big house with lots of friends only a normal girl coukd dream of and yet I feel as there is still something missing...

*Unknown POV *

I'm not being funny right but you'd think with me being spoilt rotten I'd be happy. But guess what? I'm frickin bored ! I'm one of the most powerful people on the territory and nobody's bothered about me. My so called dad the oh so great Alpha won't even let me go to school he says 'Your too precious princess' Yes I know I'm the fairest of them all and all that rubbish but seriously how am I supposed to find my mate in this dump.

I wandered round the pack house thinking of ways to get my father to agree to let me get out when I bump into a solid wall. I look forward to see not a wall but a chest then I realise who it is.

" Decebel my lovely dimwit of a brother, what can I do for you as you are obviously stood in my way purposely" I scowled at my douche of an older brother. Yes, I knew I was adopted, they just didn't know I knew.

"Kayleigh, just who I was looking for and stop with the backchat its idiotic and you know it" he growled as I laughed at him.

"I know brother but it's just oh so funny to see you get your panties in a twist" I teased.

" Now shush up, is that how you talk to the most amazing brother in the world. I thought you'd be pleased that father has agreed to let you attend school with me." I stared at Dec dumbfounded before I jumped into his arms.

"Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! " I screamed " wait what's the catch?" I groaned with Dec there was always a catch.

" No catch, be ready at 8 sharp monday. I've get some people you'd probably like to meet." he grinned like a mad man as he wandered off down the hallway. He's up to something, he always is.

I spent the rest of the weekend making sure everthing was perfect for my first day, obviously everyone was going to love me who wouldn't.

*Caleb's POV*

Kimberly fell fast asleep after dinner with my parents. She did well, even though my mother made her choke on her food after asking her about if she was ready for pups. I just couldn't help but laugh even when Kim was glaring at me, even dad couldn't breath. He stared at Kim with such admiration at the rable it was really strange.

Tonight Kim even got to hear one of the old legends my family had told for centuries , her eyes sparkled like a child as she was told, she was so beautiful. Something was bugging me about my father though, he was hiding something, I'd ask him when he got back from his trip to the elders.
