Lying in the bunk with Kent on the ride to the next town for the tour, I was concentrating on my breathing. I found comfort in his embrace, but something was bothering me.

"Are you alright, love?"

"No. I'm feeling off."

He rolled me over onto my back and looked down at me.

"How are you feeling?"

"My juju is feeling wonky."

"I love that you call it your juju."

"I don't know what else to call it."

He began caressing my face as I looked him in the eyes. We got our breathing in sync and slower.

"Relax, Krys," he said, leaned down and kissed me. "There you go. Just look at me and breathe."

I could see Kent. I knew he was right there in front of me, but it was like he was fading from my eyesight. I wasn't sure what was going on. Starting to freak out, I heard a voice.

Do not be afraid, I am here to guide you.

Who are you?

Child, do you not recognize my voice?

Nana?

What is happening?

Kent got you to relax so you could come here with me for a moment. Your body is still there with him. I sense he is concerned.

My eyesight shifted and there stood my mother's mother.

"Nana," I said and ran into her arms.

I could actually feel her when I hugged her.

"I miss you so much!"

"I miss you so so much. You have grown into an amazing woman. Your children are amazing human beings. You are so strong," she said, pulled back and put her hands on my face.

"Why am I here? What is here?"

"You, my dear, you know how to break the veil. Welcome to the Otherworld."

"Otherworld?"
"Yes, this is where we can meet and talk."

"So, you came from Heaven?"
"I did, but I have to return. I mustn't take long."

"Why is this happening? Do you have to tell me something?"
"All I can tell you is this, Krystyn, you are more powerful than you realize. There are more dark forces at play than you realize. Someone is after one of Journey's babies."

"Just one of them?"

"That's all I can. I cannot say too much, or I will cause too much of a shift."

"I understand. Thank you for some clarity."

"Krys, call it whatever you want. Come on and let's breathe together."

He began caressing my face as I looked him in the eyes. We got our breathing in sync and slower.

"Relax, Krys," he said, leaned down and kissed me. "There you go. Just look at me and breathe."

I could see the color of her eyes fading. Literally, all of the color was draining from her eyes. Her body grew still, but she was breathing.

"Krys," I said and placed my hand on her face.

She pressed her face into my hand. That let me know consciously she was still there.

"Hey, Howorth, c'mere," I said with my voice slightly raise.
