~Chapter 12~

"What's our best defense for what's coming?"

"Use your senses, my love. What do you smell," I asked her as I was monitoring Journey. "Push Journey."

"It smells like a dog," Randy said.

"You're on the right track there," I said. "And it's big."

"So it's just one," Maria asked.

"Just one, but it will take all of you working together to get rid of it, or kill it."

The ground started to shake a little bit.

"Push again, Journey."

"Chrysalis, should we black out the bubble so this won't frighten her," Carlian whispered into my ear.

"You've got a point."

Maria, I'm going to blackout the bubble because I don't want that Fenrir to scare Journey. I know y'all will kill it. You have to work as a team.

I hear you baby.

Softly saying an incantation, the bubble went black to where we couldn't see out of it. The fire inside the bubble kept it lit inside so we could see what we were doing.

"Krys, did you do that," Journey asked when she stopped pushing.

"I did do that, yes."

"Why?"

"Because you don't need the stress of knowing what is going on out there, that's why. Maria and the boys are handling it."

"What about Azalea and Luna?"

"They are close by, watching. They are fine. Push, Journey."

The Fenrir came out of the darkness and stood facing Maria, Randy, Joe, Chris" and Jax.

"Look at this mother fucker," Randy said with a laugh.

The Fenrir growled at him.

"Oh, the big wolf wants to play," Randy said.

"So, babe," Joe said. "How do we do this?"

"Well, our girl said we have to work together as a team. So, we are going to work together as a team."

Out of nowhere, the words that Maria needed to know appeared in her mind. She didn't know what they were or what they meant, but she began to say them. She lifted her hands towards the Fenrir. Joe caught on to what she was saying and began saying them with her. The others began catching on and started saying them as well. They began to notice the strength in the words were actually bringing on a powerful wind. Chris stopped saying the words and began using his element to help stir the witch wind to Maria started.

The Fenrir tried stepping towards them but the wind was too strong. The witch wind along with Chris' element increased and the Fenrir's fur began falling from it exposing its skin. The Fenrir began to whimper like it was in pain. Maria stepped towards the Fenrir with no fear. She raised one hand above her head and kept the other in front of her.

"Maria, don't," Joe yelled at her.

Trust me, my love...

It was if the closer she stepped towards the Fenrir, the more in pain it became. The Fenrir fell onto its side. Maria walked up to him and placed her hands on it. Running her hands along its underbelly, she finally stopped.

"Jax?"

"Yeah?"

"The heart is right here. Why don't you use that bow and arrow to end this?"
"You got it."
