The tour finally ended, and I think we were all relieved for safety reasons. After conferring with Luna, I decided it was best for Journey to give birth in Texas with Azalea close by. Azalea had become a confidant for me, and I had learned so much from her; more than any book or google could have. When we returned from the tour, Azalea claimed my skin had darkened. I didn't quite know what she meant until I was telling Luna and Journey what she said to me while I was checking the babies with the sound monitor.

"The dream walking did it to you," Luna said.

"What do you mean?"

"The more in touch you get with your Native American heritage with the dream walking, it brings that part of you to the surface. Have you not noticed that your hair is not dark blonde anymore, it's actually silver?"
"Luna, I haven't paid attention to my hair in a while. I've been taking care of her and these babies. I feel like I look like a damn mess, a hot mess."

"I tell you what, when you get done with Journey, let me take care of you," Luna said as she touched my arm. "You've been working your ass off taking care of her that you've neglected yourself. Travis is here with her. Kent will be coming in tonight. Let me make you beautiful for him," she said with a smile.

"Sure, Luna, thank you."

"I like that idea myself," Journey said.

We both looked down at her and she was smiling at us. The heart beats were loud and clear.

"Are you in any pain," I asked her.

"No," she said with a smile.

"Let me see if they've turned," I said, turned the machine off and set it down.

Rubbing my hands together, I made sure they were warm. Placing them on her huge abdomen, I ran them around to the left side and down. Feeling the little nudge, I smiled.

I am number one.

"She is head down."

Moving my hands to the center and below her belly button, I felt the forehead beneath my palm.

I am number two.

"She is head down."

They had learned not to question how I knew which ones were which. They knew it was a gift. I moved my hands over and before I could even put my hands where I thought his head would be, he lifted his head up and lifted her abdomen up in that spot. I heard him laugh.

I am ready to meet you, Mama K.

And, I am ready to meet you, baby boy.

"They are all head down and ready. Luna, can we go ahead and ask them to prepare the area outside just in case she goes into labor?"

"We can."

"Journey, have you decided what you are going to name them," I asked her.

"I think so. I will have to look at them to make a final decision."

I placed my hands on her abdomen and looked at her firmly; "Journey, if something happens during or after the birth, and I have to give you a directive, you must follow what I say. Do you understand?"

I said it in such a way that it put just a little bit of fear in her; and that's what I wanted.

"Yes, Krystyn, I understand. Whatever you tell me to do, I will do it. If it means protecting my children, I will do it."

"Good. Luna, let us take our leave so Travis can come in and be with her."

"Sure. Let's go get you all prettied up for your man."
