The Pirouette Series ~ Mother/She

~Chapter 6~

After the urging from Krystyn and the incident with Aria, we reworked the show to finish the second leg of the tour with just Luna and Stella dancing with Maria. Krystyn finally broke down and told me what Aria tried to do. It did worry me, more so than I wanted to let on. They had shown me the video of what she, Travis and Kent had done to Aria to get the information out of her. It was amazing.

Krystyn, Luna, Maria and I were all on the ITM bus talking outside the venue in Chicago.

"So, are you saying this goes deeper than witches," Maria asked.

"Yes," Krystyn said plainly.

"What do you think it is," Luna asked.

"It could be a demon," Krystyn said plainly.

"That's comforting," I said.

"You're scaring her," Luna said to Krystyn.

"Do you want me to sugar coat it, Luna? She needs to be prepared."

"She has a point," I said.

Krystyn came and sat down beside me. She took my hand in her. I felt the warmth coming from her hand, looked down and noticed a faint glow. It did make me feel better. I smiled at her. She smiled back at me.

"Speaking of preparations," she said. "I need to talk to you about something important."

"Sure."

"I think it is important that you and Travis marry before the babies arrive."

"Why do you think that," I asked her.

"Because they told me to tell you that," she said and made a motion with her hand.

"Oh, like a spirit told you that?"

"Multiple," she said with a wink.

"But you cannot tell me who they were."

"No."

"I've learned to trust you, Krystyn. When do you think we should get married?"
"I have a friend who can marry you. She can fly to Nashville for that show."

I picked up my phone and texted Travis.

Come see me, my love.

"Travis will be here shortly."

She nodded her head at me. We sat there talking with one another while we waiting on Travis to grace us with his presence. We got him and Kent about five minutes later. They kissed me and Krystyn at the same time.

"What's going on, Journ?"

"Krystyn has advised me that we need to marry before the babies arrival."

"Alright. When?"
"At the Nashville show. She has a friend that can do it."

"I'm good with that. I would marry you today."

"Then it is settled, when we get to Nashville," Krystyn said. "The two of you will wed in a small ceremony. You can do it before, during or after the concert. I will leave that up to you."

"Krystyn," Kent said softly.

"Yes?"

"You have been working yourself to death taking care of Journey and protecting her that you're not giving us a chance to take care of you."

"Kent, I'm okay. I know when to rest."

"That's not where I'm going with this," he said and took my hands in his.

"My apologies, my love. What is it?"

"Krystyn, I love you deeply."
"I know you do, Kent. I love you."
