"Alright boys?" Both boys stumbles back in surprise as I patted them in the back smiling. They really looked like those stupid muggle soldiers.
"We're all done in here" I started walking away from the hall before it looked too suspicious before I heard hurried steps behind me.
I turned my head slightly to look I to the face of Theo.
Awesome"Soooo..." he said as we walked side by side to the common room.
"What" I asked in an annoyed tone. I felt him look at me.
"What do you guys do in there?" I furrowed my eyebrows. He meant what Draco and I did in the room of requirements.
"A task. I already told you""Yes, I know, a task. But what. What is the task"
"I can't tell you that" I glanced at him to see him squinting his eyes at me.
"Well, I don't want to" I admitted.
It would be easy to just tell them everything. Of course they were things I couldn't tell them, but some thing I didn't tell them I could. I just chose not to. If I told them, then what's the fun in it?
"Come on. Please. Tell me" I glanced sideways at him as his brows nitted.
"Why exactly do I have to tell you this?"
"Theo" a voice was heard behind us. Blaise can to the other side of Theo. "Quit it"
To be completely honest I have no idea why Blaise is overly scared of me. I mean I get it, I'm You know who's daughter but what did I ever do to him?I looked over at him as he avoided eye contact.
"We're fixing a cabinet" I answers Theo's question still staring at Blaise.
They both looked over at me. "Fixing a cabinet?"
"Yep" I lightly smiled at the floor. Silence stayed for no more than 20 seconds before I looked back up to see both their confused faces looking at me expectantly. I looked slowly from one to another. "What" "That's all your getting"
~
I sat on my bed twirling my wand in my hand. There hadn't been a dream since last time, my mind was too occupied to keep thinking's about it.
There was a knock at the door. "Come in"
The door started creaking open and in came a short black haired girl. Oh Merlin.
What is it this time."To what do I owe the pleasure" I stood in my place not making any thoughts about moving. I looked behind the girl at the door.
"Your friend didn't come?""No, it's just me" I looked at her waiting.
"I-" she sighed as she looked at the floor. Well this is different.
"Spit it out Parkinson"
"I really don't know if I should even be talking to you about this, but.,, I have no one" I stood silent letting her finish. "But Blaise said I should, so I came"
Hmm, Blaise.
"Alright"
"I'm.. I'm really...scared..?" Her voice was shaking. She was really nervous.
There was one of two ways to go with this.
Blaise sent her. So he's expecting me to... be nice to her? Or curse her out. She was a bitch before so what.
With Blaise it just came out before I thought of it. I actually felt something. Like in a way I felt... bad for him. Like I understood him the tiniest bit. With Pansy it just doesn't feel like that. She started off on the wrong foot with the wrong person but for some reason I can't bring myself to just kick her out and ignore her. So I just listen to my gut and go along with it."Was that a question or a statement" I suddenly ask, realizing how long I took to say something. She turns her head back to me and I see her eyes. They look desperate, fearful. But for what exactly?
"A- a statement" her voice so soft I could barely catch it. I try to remember what I did to Blaise. If he's so scared of me why would he tell Pansy to come to me?
I look around at my surroundings and look at the big bed I front of me. I look up to see the black haired girl looking at me. I nod my head at the bed. She looks at it, then back to me, then back to the bed. She slowly walks over to the bed and sits. Hesitantly.
"Go on then"
"I- I don't want to get the dark mark. It-" she lets out a sigh. "It's just I see what it does to Blaise and- Draco..." she suddenly stops. "He's changed so much. You have no idea" her voice started cracking and suddenly she was crying.
"I know you wouldn't understand. It's probably an honor to you. Your his daughter..." I stare at her. I don't know what to say, because she's right. I don't know what they mean, what they feel. I don't know why they're scared. When I looked at Blaise something in just felt bad for him. In Pansy I can see the fear, but her personality, or more so her way of showing her fear at first does not help.
"I don't" I admit. "And your additude really doesn't help" she sighed before looking back at me.
I sighed. "Look Pansy" I took her hands in my and I felt as she almost jumped before relaxing. She hadn't seen me do anything. But I know she knows what I have done. "Your not getting the mark, ok?"
"I'll make sure of it"
