"I'm too good for you." I said and gave him his arm back a guy sitting across from us laughed. "Ohhhhh look who just got rejected." "Shut up Skate." Jack said. I laughed. "So what's your name hottie?" Skate asked. "My name's Paislee. But I don't have time to tell you about my life. I'm going to go skateboarding." I said and left. I went outside and I was about to start skateboarding when I was stopped by Alice. "Hey what's up?" I asked her. "Do you have a thing with Gillinsky." "No. Of course not. I just got here." I said. "Good because you'll only get hurt." She said. "Hey girls." Skate said coming up behind Alice. "Hey." Alice and I said. "Hey Paislee did you go to the skate park yet." "No but I'd like to." "Then let's go." "Alright. I'll be back before the end of the lunch." I said and hugged her goodbye. "So where you from." "New Jersey." "Wow that's quite a ways a way what made you move down here?" We should head to the Skat-" I was interrupted when Skate decided to kiss me it went from kissing to making out. For five minutes until I broke the kiss and skated off. "Sorry Skate. I don't stick around." I said as he began to chase after me. "Are you following me now?" I said laughing. "C'mon? I'll buy you a coffee." "Alright." I said laughing and reached Tim Horton's. "What do you want?" "A French vanilla." "Fine but your waiting here with me." "Alright." I said and he leaned forward a little to kiss me. "Hey bro who's the hottie?" A short guy with dirty blonde hair asked. "Brady this is Paislee. Paislee, Brady." "Hi." I said. Skate wrapped his arms around me once Brady walked away when I felt my phone buzz.

"Who's that?" Skate asked. "My sister Alice. I gotta head back soon class starts." I said. He groaned. "What a goodie goodie." He said and I laughed. "Awe Skate don't worry. You'll see me tomorrow." I said. "Yeah. I'll miss you." Skate said and pulled me into a hug. "No you won't." "Yeah. I will. But I have a question." He asked. "Shoot." "Why don't you come over and hang with me and the guys." "Sure as long as you invite Alice." "Done." He said and kissed me again. Once we got our coffee we headed back to school once we entered the bell went. "I'll see you later." "Yeah meet me by Alice's locker." I said. "Alright." He said and kissed me. "Pais. What is with you and Skate?" "Ali I have no idea what he's thinking but we're invited to go to his house." "I can't. Mom expects me to be home on time. Call them and ask?" I asked. If took her a while to agree. "Fine." "Good and by the way we're going to meet him by your locker." I said. "Okay." She said as we entered the class.

School was finally over and I was on my way to meet Skate. When to my surprise someone came up behind me and picked me up. "Hey Paislee." A deep voice said. I knew it was Gillinsky but I thought it was Skate. "Hi." I said as he put me down. "Where are you headed?" "To meet with your boy Skate." "Why?" "Why do you care?" I asked as he held my hand. "I don't." "Well I'm going to his house?" I said but more as a question. Gillinsky was quiet. "I'll see you there then." He finally spoke after 5 minutes of silence. "I gotta go see Skate. Bye." "Paislee. Where are you meeting him." "Alice's locker." I said. He nodded and was still holding my hand. I saw him smile in the corner of my eye. Once we met up with Alice, Skate and Johnson we headed to Gillinsky's Jeep and he let go of my hand. I was told to sit in the front seat so I did.
