Paislee's POV

"You thought you could escape me didn't you." My rapist father said. I was holding back the tears the best I could but then my mind went back to Jack and our day earlier. "You are such a baby." He spoke. I still had my phone but it was on silent so he wouldn't here it. When he left the room I took out my phone and texted Ali for information on Gilinsky.

To 'Ali bear.'
-How is he? Is he okay?

From 'Ali bear.'
-He's asking about you. Are you okay where are you?

To 'Ali bear
-I miss him. Old house send for help my fathers name is Noah Lox. Help me.

I stopped texting her and hid my phone again. When I heard him coming back and sirens. 'I'm gonna die.' Is my only thought. "Waverley. Stay in that fucking bed or your boyfriend will die." He said tying me to the bed. He ran out of the room and went down stairs. One thing I love about long sleeves is that you can hide things but a bad thing is that if the police find me they will see my vagina. I heard the police down stairs asking him questions about me so that gave me time to escape again. I love Jack and need to see him, to make sure he's okay. "May we have a look inside?" I heard the police ask. I was thankful for it. One of my friends that I kept in touch with here just joined the police force. So they can save me. I heard them reach the door and I wanted to scream but I thought of Jack. 'Don't scream or bad things will happen.' Is my only thought when police barge in and shot my dad. My friend did because he knows him. "Alex." I said to my Best friend. "Waverley." He said running towards me and hugging me. It was kind of awkward between us because I'm half naked. "Alex you can ah. Free me. Now." I said. He threw me clothes and quickly untied me. Once dressed, I got up to see if my dad was dead and thank God he was. "Thank you Alex." I said as I hugged him again. "I told you if you needed me to kill him that I would. I love you." He said. "Alex take me to Saint John Regional Hospital." I said. He nodded and drove me back into Saint John with a sad look on his face. It was gonna be a long journey.
