Still Paislee's POV

"Jack." I said walking into the room. "Paislee." I heard Jack say. "Jack." I cried as I wrapped him into a hug. "Can you guys give us a second?" Jack asked everyone else but me. They left and it what just us. "Baby I'm sorry for me not being there earlier to save you." "Jack. You don't have to apologize for that. All that matters is that he is dead and that you're okay. You don't even understand all the shit I have been through. The bruises and cuts are all from him." I stopped so I could hold in the tears better but Jack crashed his lips onto mine. It turned into a make out session fast. I was craving Jack for these past 6 long days. "Paislee. I'm here for you." He said in between the kiss. I pulled away to hug him. "Thank you for coming back." "Your welcome." I said kissing him again. Everyone returned to the room and I decided to sit on the bed with Jack. The nurse came in the room around 9 o'clock and told everyone but me its time to leave. The nurse knew me so she knew that I was going to stay with Jack. "Paislee?" "Yeah." "I'm glad you are here and safe with me." "I'm glad too." I said as I got up and sat in a chair beside his bed.

The next morning.

I woke up to a nurse putting a tray down on a stand beside me. "Morning Paislee." "Morning Cathy." "If you're hungry, you are welcome to make whatever you want to eat. Okay." "Okay. Thank you Cathy." "Your welcome sweet heart." She said and walked off. I got up and headed to the bathroom. I reapplied my make-up and went to make myself something to eat. "Good morning dear." A old woman said as I walked into the kitchen. She was in the same room with Jack for her husband. She is a nice lady. "Good morning." "How's your friend?" "He's doing alright. Your husband?" "He's been better." "I hope he makes it. For you and your family." "Thank you very much dear." "Your welcome." I said and gave her a hug. She was so sweet and I feel bad for her and her family. Hoping and praying that he'll make it. I hope he is going to be okay.
