IS IT A DREAM || HIZZIE

CROSSING THE LINE

This is going to be a pretty long ass chapter so buckle up guys.. Emotions are going to be all over the place. I have started a new format with using italic for all 3rd person .

As they reach the cafeteria , Hope starts to get nervous again .

Upon entering the room , Josie notices her friends sitting at a table , all of who are familiar to Hope as well which included Jade, Jed , Kaleb , MG and Lizzie, so they go and occupies a seat besides them.

As they approach the table , all of them exchange pleasantries except for Hope and Lizzie. It wasn't unusual for Hope to spend time with the people at the table as she had known them all for the past 3 years , from her classes, having lunch together or going for football practice.

(But none of them could be classified as friends to Hope as she barely knew anything about them except for school purposes. She cant even remember the last time she had a spontaneous conversation with any of them).

Soon everyone seems to settle down as the rest of the group except for the twins and Hope start bickering among themselves.

Meanwhile Josie was having a conversation with her sister , as she notices Lizzie checking out each and everyone in the room.

Jo:- Hey , what are you looking for?

Liz :- Its a new year Jo, which means a new start and new relationships. After Raf completely broke my heart last year I am going to make sure this year is different.

Jo :- So you are looking for a guy again.

Liz :-  Not just a guy , maybe even a girl for all that matters , unless they don't take away my QB position its gonna be fine.

Suddenly Lizzie takes a Jab at Hope.

Liz :- Also I don't want to be an almighty powerful Loner emo , who cant even make friends. 

She says this while giving a look to hope as if she were about to drill holes through her eyes. Hopes notices and heard what Lizzie said and is about to reply back , but is cut off by Josie.

Jo :- Wait what! You like girls as in you are gay??

Josie says that a bit loud , and checks if somebody heard her but thankfully no one was paying attention , except for one.

Liz :- No no , I mean I don't know , I am still confused. Its not like I wouldn't like to find out though, but until I am sure I would like to keep it as a twin secret.

As she said so , she notices Hope's face as she had a smirk. She is instantly terrified & thinks that she will spread it throughout the school. Not that she was afraid of being gay , but she was unsure about it and wasn't ready to face questions about things she wasn't sure of herself.

Hope notices the worried look on the blondes' face. Understanding what Lizzie must be feeling , Hope looks at the girl and gives her a assuring smile and mimics " Its ok" through her lips. 

Lizzie takes notice and feels a weight being lifted off her chest. She smiles back at Hope & as she does so their eyes meet and without realizing they continue to stare into each others eyes. few moments later, Lizzie's eyes lower to Hope's lips which are  just as red as a rose, she gulps down as her throat starts to dry while biting her own lips in the mean time.

A few moments later , Josie clears her throat as they break out of the trance, both of them realizing what just happened between them . None of them believe that they actually felt soft for the other.
