WILL YOU BE MY DATE?

As Lizzie left the room as Hope freshened up & went for her classes as usual . She met Josie waiting at the turn of her corridor waiting for her , she tried avoiding but couldn't.

Hope :- Hey Jo.

They start walking towards their classroom , while chatting.

Jo :- Where have you been ? I have been texting you the whole night.

Hope tries to hide her face as she looks away , trying to hide her blush remembering the events of last night.

Hope :- My phone must have died , I didn't notice .

She stays while her voice stumbles.

Jo :- You Okay?? 

Hope :- I am fine , just feeling off today.

Jo :- ok , by any chance have you seen Lizzie today??

Hope's blush returns again as she tries to fake a smile , while Josie notices & realises something is different. 

Hope :- NO , No. Why would I know , it's not like she is my friend or something.

Josie gives a snarky smile as she recognises Hope lying through her teeth, so she starts to get her to confess.

Jo :- Well let's see . Last night you two made out in front of all our friends & then she leaves the party and so do you , Well though I told you too but still. After that no one heard from you or Lizzie the whole night or in the morning until now when I met you.

Hope :- Well I and Lizzie parted ways just a few minutes after I found her in the woods.

She says not looking at Josie as Josie would easily know that she is hiding something.

But Josie knew Hope all too well , she knew that Hope avoiding eye contact meant she was lying.

Jo :- Ohh you sure  she didn't spend the night at yours?

Hope :- Positive , why would she, I mean we. I don't like her & vice versa.

Jo :- Well seeing you don't have any friends and the fact that Lizzie was missing last night along with you . Plus the hickey on your neck tells me a different story .

Hope was stunned at the statement & just panicked that somebody else might have seen it.

Hope :- Wait what !! She didn't tell me it was there in the morning , when we woke up. 

A few moments later, realization stickes in.

Hope :-  Wait ! I am a Tribid , I can't have hickeys they would heal.

Hope realised that she had spilled the beans & been exposed by her best friend.

Hope :- Shit! I got tricked.

She grabs the brunette's arms & pull her aside into a empty classroom , trying to avoid the corridor filled with students.

Jo :- So lies, huh !!

Hope :- Yeah.

She says with her eyes on the ground.

Jo :- Don't do that . I am you best friend you can tell me stuff , that's what friends are for.

Hope :- I just expected that since she was you sister ...

She is cut off by Josie .
