The Third Floor was a big cluster of people, considering how we were "up to date" with Flooring. We heard word around the dirty main town that the boss was in fact sensible, a big red ox with a golden hammer. We were all starting to get ready for the boss raid, and we all had Rainers, the most powerful weapon on the Third Floor. And we were also equipped with Mala Tunics, as well. We just needed some Strong Healing Potions, like four of them, at the very least.

We strode into the boss room with confidence, wielding our Rainers with tight grips. We all had different types of Rainers. Falckon had a straight/longsword, Tasm had a Greatsword, I had a straight as well, Usu had a rapier, and Komi had a katana. Together, we were a powerful bunch, one to be reckoned with. We stopped in our forced tracks and stared. Taurus, the Hammered Ox, was the name of the boss. It stood towering above us.

I was the first to charge, an obvious signal. They obeyed, screaming towards the boss. Venom seeped into each and every hit.

We got his HP bars down to red. He summoned mini versions of himself around him, and a golden blade.

"Usu, Komi! Attack his minions continuously and kill them! We will pursue the boss! Switch!" I yelled, and the plan followed through. We charged at the boss many times, using sword skills and such.

At that moment, I saw the golden blade slice through the center of Tasm. "Somebody!" I croaked and yelled, "Heal Tasm! Now!" Usu dashed over to him and healed him immediately. She directed Tasm hastily to the door in which we came through, telling him to wait there and heal. Usu ran back and kept attacking.

Falckon nodded at me and ran around the boss, distracting him. Falckon finally stopped running, and swung his sword in the air. I stood there, puzzled, still processing what that meant. Then I realized it, and started slashing at the back of the red ox. It roared in fury, and whipped around, swinging the blade.

I panicked. Out of all the bosses, they never focused mainly on me. I started backing up, jumping this way and that. I looked to the side, then back at the ox. Only one more hit, I thought, gazing at his health bars. Falckon dashed over to me, right by my side. Together, we charged at the boss.

Then a flash of shining gold.

Then black.
