2: Freeing Glimmer

Glimmer's POV

I saw Adora being ushered out of the room and I tried to follow her. "Now, now. You won't go with her," Prime says. "Why not?" I ask. Prime doesn't answer. The clones start pushing me out of the room. 

I don't know here I'm going, I'm just being taken somewhere. Suddenly we stop in front of a green door and one of the clones puts their hand on the door. The door disappears and the clone gently pushes me inside, closing the door behind me. "Hey!" I yell, hoping someone will hear me. No one comes. "Adora?" I ask. "Adora where are you?" I continue screaming her name, but still no one comes. 

I lay on the bed and try to sleep.

Bow's POV

"Glimmer! Adora!" I yell. I saw them being sucked up into some kind of ship. "Glimmer? Adora?" I ask, running to the hole in the ground the light caused. I sit there, not knowing what to do when Scorpia comes with Perfuma and Frosta. "What happened?" Scorpia asks. "He took them... He took them!" I yell. "Whoa, what do you mean?"

"Prime took Glimmer and Adora!"

Adora's POV

"And here is where you'll be sleeping, little sister," the clone says. "Oh, okay. Um. Thank you?" I say. The clones leave and I go into my 'room'. "This is... different," I say while walking farther into the room. "Hello, little sister." I hear the clone's voice and I jump. "Oh, hello."

"You have been invited to a dinner with Lord Prime this evening," The clone says. "We will come get you when it is time." The clone walks out and closes the door.

I decide to walk around the ship and I hear Glimmer shouting my name. "Adora?" Glimmer yells. "Glimmer?" I shout, running towards the noise. "Adora!"

I finally reach her door and I put my hand on it. "Adora!" Glimmer puts her hand on top of mine. 

Suddenly a clone comes over to us. "It is time to take you to the dinner with Lord Prime," the clone says as he opens the door. 

I look at Glimmer and she looks back at me. I shrug then follow the clone with Glimmer behind me.

Glimmer's POV

Once we reach the room it takes Horde Prime a moment to join us. "It's an honor to be here with you, Your Majesty," Prime says. I look over at Adora to see her eyeing the food suspiciously. "I suppose it is," I respond while picking up my fork and cutting off a piece of the curious blue jelly and putting it into my mouth. "This food is very rare, it comes from a planet that no longer exists." I spit out the food, disgusted. 

"So, I've heard about your little rebellion," Prime ventures. "We've had that rebellion for a long while now," I say. "Yes, well, every 'rebellion' is centered around a beacon of hope. And yours is right in front of me." Prime looks at Adora and I notice his clones closing in on her. 

"Don't touch her," I say. "And why shouldn't I?" Prime asks. I look at Adora to see her eyes wide. "You want to use the heart, right? Well she's a part of it, the key to it. If she's gone you can't use it," I finish. "Very well." Prime lowers his hand and the clones back away. Adora relaxes a bit.

I eye my food, not wanting more. Prime must've seen me. 

"Seconds?"

Adora's POV

As I left the room I see two clones leaving, walking fast as if they're in a rush. "Where are you two going?" I follow them into a room and I sneak into the room while the door is still open. 

I see one of the clones going behind some kind of wall, while the other goes behind a desk, pressing buttons while I watch carefully. Suddenly the clone behind the wall disappears. 'He must've teleported,' I think. 

'Wait, I can get Glimmer out of here.' I run outside of the door, hoping not to be seen. I continue running until I reach Glimmer's cell. 

"Glimmer! I'm getting you out of here," I say while opening the door. "Adora, what do you mean?" She asks. "Just come with me." I grab her hand and I run back to the room with the teleporter. We run inside and I close the doors then go over to the desk.

I press a few buttons and start a call with Bow. "Bow!" I say. "Adora?!" Bow asks. "Listen to me, you need to get to these coordinates immediately, I'm sending Glimmer to you."

"What about you, Adora?" Bow asks another question but I ignore him. "Don't worry about me, all that matters is that my friends are safe," I say. I continue pressing buttons, firing up the teleporting machine. That's when the clones start barging through the doors. "Listen, I'm sorry. For everything. I wasn't a good friend. But I'll fix it." I fight off the clones that are trying to stop me. 

"Don't come back for me," I say, throwing Glimmer one last smile, I teleport Glimmer out of Horde Prime's ship.

The clones attack me, pinning me to the floor and one of them knocking me out.

Bow's POV

"Adora? ADORA!" I scream into the tablet, but nothing happens. "Is everything okay?" Perfuma comes into the room. "We need to get here," I say, showing Perfuma the coordinates Adora set. "That's not far from here, we'll be there in a few minutes. I'll go get the other princesses."

When we get there I look around, hoping to see Glimmer but I don't see her. "She isn't here," I say. "Then maybe we should check around here, maybe whoever you're looking for got lost?" Perfuma says. "Okay.." I was about to turn around when I see a green circle and Glimmer comes barreling through. "Glimmer!" I shout, running to her. I hug her tighter than I've ever hugged anyone. Everyone else hugs her as well and we just stand there, in one group hug.

"Wait, if you're back, where's Adora?" Mermista asks. Glimmer starts tearing up. "S-She... She saved me, she stayed behind," Glimmer stutters. "She... stayed behind for us?" Perfuma asks. "Yes..." I say, looking down. "But.. what did she say?" Frosta asks. "She said.. That she was sorry and she wasn't a good friend. Then.." Glimmer's voice trails off. "She said not to come back for her," Glimmer finishes. 

"Did anyone stop looking for me when I told her not to come back?" Entrapta asks. "No..." I slowly say. 

"Then we're not going to stop looking for her!"
