Tanjiro x fem! Reader
I watched from my estate, a boy got here two days ago now sitting on the butterfly estate, he was staring at the moon. I decided to crawl out of my window and jump to the butterfly estates balcony close enough though I almost missed.
Pulling myself up I climbed up the estate and peeled up to see him.
Tranjra? Tomika? Tanjra?
"Tanjiro?" I called his gaze was slow, looking to me. I pulled myself up.
He stared at me confused and I walked on the roof carefully, he said nothing.
"Hey!" I smiled as I took a seat next to him, he looked depressed.
"You okay? I know this must be overwhelming." I put my hand on his back.
"Yeah, you're right though it's over whelming." He sighed, "they butterfly girls can annoy me sometimes know your welcome to stay at my estate to train." I smiled motioning to my estate.
He nodded and looked back to the sky.
"How's Nezuko?" After watching her get stabbed a few days ago, I have been worried.
A tear fell from his eye,
"She's okay."
"Are you?"
He looked distressed, "everything here is so hard, I want to have my family back." He rested his head on his knees. I pulled him into my side, "Tanjiro.." I frowned.
"I'll stay until you feel better" I promised.
"It's cold and your only in sleep wear." He sniffled,
"I'm okay" I smiled he reached for his checkered haori, pulling it off and dripping it over my shoulders.
"My father told me if I ever let a lady go cold I would never meet her standards" he smiled followed by an innocent chuckle.
"Oh? Trying to reach my standards?" I teased
"Of course I am!" He blushed softly only visibly in the moonlight.
"I'm serious, whenever it gets to be to much, come stay with me." I insisted resting my free hand over his.
"That may be soon!" He joked, we rested on the roof for awhile just watching the stars.
"Y/n?" He called making sure I was still awake.
"Don't worry Tanjiro I'm awake I wouldn't fall asleep on you after just meeting me." I sat up, he also sat up,
"Well it may be soon but, would you like to get tea sometime?" He scratched the back of his neck.
"Uh- yes! I'd love to!" I smiled
"Amazing" his starry eyes stared into mine he started closing the gap between us but I knew I couldn't. I shouldn't. I pulled away with a heavy blush.
"W-well see you tomorrow!" I chuckled awkwardly.
"I'm sorry-" he reached for me as I stood up,
"Feel welcome to stay with me..." I played with my fingers. And then started walking off the roof jumping back to my estate.
As I turned to close the window I saw Tanjiro standing in the roof, watching me.
He waved Goodnight and turned back around.
For some reason I felt butter flies, I smiled softly pulling the curtains shut and turning in for bed, I didn't bother changing I didn't train today.
The sunlight streamed through cracks in the curtains the next morning and a servant knocking at my door.
"Yes?" I called out standing up opening the door. My servant stepped in and I started to change only then did I realize, I still had Tanjiro's haori on.
"Ma'am someone is here to train with you!" She smiled I started to change into my uniform and decided instead of my flowery haori to wear his. Knowing it would be him who answered.
"Go ahead and send them to my bedroom!" I smiled waving her off.
I heard heavy foot steps coming up the stairs.
"Y/n?" He called into my room,
"Tanjiro?" I acted surprised, he blushed seeing I still had his haori on.
"Do you want this back?" I smiled we both knew what I was referring to.
"Here, we train and if I win a match I get it back, AND! I take you out tonight." He smirked,
"And if I win?"
"You keep it for another day and...anything of your choice." He shrugged stepping closer to me.
"Hm, I take YOU out tonight." I smiled he blushed,
"Wonderful" he winked and turned to head to the mats. I followed behind him.
As he opened the door to the mats, grabbing wooden sword, "I've never seen you fight before," I grabbed a sword and closed the door.
"I've never seen you win a fight" he smirked
"Oh? Well you've never seen me lose either"
"We are about to" he was slick, I charged at him.
He dodged and and swung at my back, I took the hit, kicking him in the side, swinging my sword hitting his wrist.
He clutched his sword harder, not trying to drop it. Bringing his arm down to hit me, he succeeded I was in the air from the blow.
He brought his arm up over me then down taking me to the ground, I tried to sprinted up but he held my down in a position I couldn't get out of.
"I win!" He jumped I stood and started to take off his haori.
"No! Keep it for now, you can give it back when I take you out tonight" he reached for my hand giving my knuckles a kiss.
"Can't wait..." I blushed
He started to lean in again, I wanted to kiss him so badly but I had to wait patiently. Just making sure this wasn't a mistake.
