"Jacob?" I called him as I walked into the house. I took off my shoes and walked into the kitchen. "Baby?"
I heard sniffling coming from upstairs. I bit my lip and walked upstairs into our bedroom.
I see Jacob crawled up into a ball on our bed, crying.
"Baby?" I called him. He shifted and wiped his tears.
"Yes?" He croaked. My heart just broke
"What's wrong?" He frowned and covered his face. He started to say incoherent things while he sobbed. I sat next to him and hugged him. He sobbed in my chest as he kept saying things I didn't understand.
"Baby. What's wrong? Talk to me." I said. He wiped his face and shook his head.
"I-its okay." He said.
"No baby, it's not. What happened?"
"Nothing Auggie. Just.. don't worry." He forced a smile on his face.
"Okay." I said, not believing him.
"Uh, I'm gonna take a shower, then I gotta go down to the studio." He sighed.
"O-Okay." He said. I pecked his lips quickly.
"I love you."
"I love you too." I said and went to the bathroom

After August got ready, he left. I didn't feel like going this time because of what happened last time. I frowned at the thought and went to make something for myself to eat. Then someone knocked on the door. I rolled my eyes and went to get the door.
My heart stopped.
"Ch-Chres? What are you doing here?"
"We need to talk." He said.
"Come in." I said, nervously biting my lip.
He sat on the couch and I shut the door, sitting next to him after.
It was kinda awkward.
"So, what do you needa talk about?" I asked him
"The kiss." He said. "I'm sorry about that. I-I guess that... you just really attracted me... and I couldn't help it." He said.
"Um... it's okay. Please just don't cheat on Denise. She's a really good person and... I don't want her to get hurt." I said as I fiddled with my fingers.
"I promise. And one more thing." He said
"What?"
"She's pregnant." He cheesed. I smiled but... I somewhat felt... hurt?
I guess these feelings just rubbed off on me. Oh my gosh.
"That's great!" I smiled. "Congratulations."
"Thanks." He vaguely smiled. "I'm gonna go now. I promised your friend that I go to the store for her."
"Okay. Bye ugly." I laughed.
"Goodbye curly top." He chuckled and left
