The bell rang and everyone went to class. The rest of the day went by quick and the final bell rang before I knew it. I went to my locker and shoved all of my extremely heavy books in my locker. Thankfully the first day I had no homework. I shut my locker and started walking towards the door.
“excuse me”, I heard a voice say “ im Alice, could I talk to you?” It was the leader of the Barbies. Alice had blonde hair which was styled in big curls. She had ice blue froze you when she looked in you the eyes.
“about what?” I asked her.
“well, im sure you know about the barbies here at Brinkley. And we were looking for the new freshmen for this year. And we were considering you for the two to compete. Would you be interested?” she said. Of course I would. Who wouldn’t?
“uhm, I really don’t know” I said looking at the floor.
“well think about it. And let me know tomorrow?” she said walking off. I ran out to the car saw Brax and his friend Nate standing by the car.
“hurry up bree!” brax yelled. Nate and I made eye contact.
“holy shit, I forgot little Bree is a freshman this year” he said giggling.
‘Im not little anymore” I spat back at him. Nate had big brown eyes and short brown flippy hair. I always had a little thing for him but Brax would never let that happen.
“right, I mean look at you.” Nate said looking me up and down biting his lip and checking me out.
“DUDE!” Brax said punching him.
“im only joking calm down!” he shoved back laughing.
“brax can we go? I have stuff to do.” I asked. I really didn’t. but being around Nate made me nervous. And I also had a lot of thinking ot do with the whole Barbie thing. We got in the car and went home.
Later that night, I laid in bed thinking about today. Debating if joining the barbies would be a good idea or not. I thought about Nate, how if I was a Barbie, maybe id be able to get with a guy like Nate, if not him.
