That night Alice came over before the party to help me get ready. She let me borrow some of her clothes because mine weren’t slutty enough I guess. She killed my curly hair by running my long brown hair through a straightener. She gave me an over dramatic smoky eye with fake lashes. She applied a light pink lip gloss and some powder to finish my face. She dressed me in a tight, short black skirt with a sheer black tank top. She had me put on a bright pink bra thing underneath. And lets not forget about the insane black pumps she made me wear. Her dressing me up like that made me feel like an actual Barbie.
We met up with Stella Claire and cailin to go to the party together. Alice drove us all in her tiny red punch bug convertible to the party. The house looked strangely familiar. We walked inside to be greeted by Nate.
“welcome to my crib guys!’ he shouted joking. That’s why it looked familiar. This was Nate’s house. “Bree,” he said looking me up and down. “you look nice”
“thanks” I smiled back at him. Someone called for him and he walked into the other room.
“okay,” alice said “mingle and have fun, but don’t get wasted barbies have to find the medium between trashy and classy.”
“have fun!” stella said as everyone walked in different directions. I walked past the stairs down the hall into the kitchen. I looked out the back door and saw some people were outside around a fire. I stepped out onto the porch. I looked around out all of the high schoolers drunk off their asses. People making out and smoking weed. It was like a scene out of one of those cliché teen movies where the nobody girl gets with the quarterback. The only difference was, this was not a movie, and the story line is of me ruining a girls life.
I felt someone put their arm around me “I have a problem” he slurred leaning on me “ I don’t know who you are!”
“to me that’s a good thing” I said shoving him off trying to walk away. He frocely grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
“excuse me!” he screamed “where do you think youre going” He gripped my arm tighter.
“shes not going anywhere. But you are. Out of my house. Now.” Nate screamed at the guy. The guy stumbled out of there. “are you okay?” nate asked me.
“im fine.” I said quietly. Looking around noticing everyone was looking at me. I looked up at him. “can we go somewhere, where no one is going to be staring at me.” He smiled
