Franky wakes up snuggled by the pizza oven. He opens his eyes to a curly-haired person in an apron, rolling out dough.

APPLE JACK: Rise and shine ma lil caramel square!
Franky sighs. He could live the rest of his life like this. Was it too early to say he was in love? Absolutely not.

FRANKY: Good morning.. Um...

He glanced at her name tag

FRANKY: Good morning Apple Jack!

APPLE JACK: Howdy partner!

Ellen dramatically enters looking furious snap

ELLEN: What the freak were you doing in the barn last night? Father-

Apple Jack quickly cuts across

APPLE JACK: HES NOT MA G-D FORSAKEN FATHER, I AINT EVEN CRASH THERE NO MORE. I GOT MA OWN NICE LITTLE APARTMENT AND MAKE MASELF A LIVIN'! BESIDES, IM THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE DEM DAMN CHICKENS!

Franky diverts his glance back and forth between them. Father? He was quite confused.

FRANKY: are y-y-you guys like ... siblings?

ELLEN: Step siblings.

APPLE JACK: some'in like that.

He was in shock. Did he just have a crush on two total opposites, that happened to be step siblings?

ELLEN: Anyway I came all this way to tell you I'm in love with you!
FRANKY: You're wha-

APPLE JACK: Naur! I'm head over heels in love with you stinkbug! You make me as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine2, giving birth on a hot summer's day drinking lemonade.

Apple Jack breaks the fourth wall and looks directly at the camera

APPLE JACK: Darlin' if he has to remove his cowboy hat to kiss you, you mus have picked yourself one mighty feller

FRANKY: Did you just break the fourth wall?

ELLEN(suddenly in posh south dublin accent): Darling I have no blooming idea what you are talkING about?

FRANKY: I need space. Both of you stay right here. I'm going up.

2 - "She's as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine."

When a pig dies, presumably in a sty outside, the sun dries out its skin. This effect pulls the pig's lips back to reveal a toothy "grin," making it look happy even though it's dead. This phrase describes a person who's blissfully ignorant of reality
