The Cottage
Sarah runs in late. "Guys I'm so sorry!" She is covered in dirt and darted to the washroom and cleaned herself off. She quickly came back looking neat. She was out of breath.
The sound of a girl rushing in broke Sage out of her trance. "What happened?? Are you okay??" Sage jumped to check up on her.
Sarah slowly caught her breath. "Bit of vampire trouble, I'm good." She was bleeding just a bit from her leg.
Sun was hurried to get medical supplies and aid to her. "Here, Sarah, sit down. Tell us what happened," she demanded, cleaning the other girl's wound.
Viktor kept his distance, tapping his claws on the counter. "Sarah, is it bad?" He walked closer and looked at her bleeding.
Viktor knelt down by Sarah and began cleaning up the blood. It was unbelievably hard to not attack Sarah. He just forced himself to focus which was hard when all he could imagine in his head is the warm flow of blood.... He began to disinfect it.
Sarah sat down and pulled up her pants leg. It wasn't to bad. She had fallen while running and cut her knee open a bit. "I'm fine. Just got chased. I'm good."
"Have you disinfected it already? Do you want pie ??" Sun realized the questions were totally unrelated but pie made everyone feel better.
Sarah was slightly nervous watching Viktor clean her up. She made seen what he did on blood rages; it wasn't pretty. However she stopped worrying when Sun offered her pie. "Pie sounds great."
"You want apple or blue berry ?" Sun wondered how Vik would react to such a situation and she was really impressed.
Sarah continued to cautiously watch Viktor. "Apple. Thanks." She watched Viktor bandage her leg and immediately dash outside.
Sage watched them clean her up. Sage wasn't good with blood, so she kept a bit back.
Viktor had put himself in a tree outside. He was taking slow deep breaths to calm down. He cleaned the fresh blood from his hands. He watched them through the window from outside. He didn't think he could go back in yet.
Sun ran to get the apple pie. "I hope you like it. I picked the apples myself." She gave her the plate and fork , then sat down enjoying a piece of Vik's pie.
Sarah went to thank Viktor and noticed he wasn't there. She tried a bite of the pie. It was super good, in her opinion. She winced as she elevated her leg slightly.
Sage decided to follow Viktor after Sarah was cleaned up. She found him sitting in a tree. Sage chuckled, putting her hands on her hips and sticking her bottom lip out at him. "Y'know, not ALL of us can jump that high into a tree." She giggled and tossed her head in the direction of the cottage. "She's cleaned up now. You don't have to hide up there anymore."
Viktor took a steady breath. "I almost lost it," he admitted. Sarah's heartbeat still sounded loud in his ears. He jumped from the tree and looked down at Sage. Truthfully, every ounce of his self control was going to not murdering the next human he saw. "It's hard... but-" he started walking slowly back to the cottage. "I can do it, I think."
Sage watched him struggle internally. His facial expressions gave him away. She paused by the tree, letting him walk ahead of her. 'Would he be okay?' She thought, worried about him.
Viktor sat down inside, on the opposite side of the room.
Sarah finished her pie and noticed Vik had replaced the window and just now realized the door was gone.
