Lyra and Viktor
Lyra woke up, not having known when she fell asleep. She opened her eyes and found herself in the room she slept in before. She got up and found the case on the desk. She opened it up and took the violin. She walked out looking for others
She walked in one of the rooms, surprised to see Viktor was there. "Hey I am sorry...did I miss something? Where are the others," she asked him with a slight yawn at the end.
He was still sitting on the window. His claws digging into it. He cleared his throat. "Hey Lyra. Sarah came... she needs to stay here tonight. She came in bleeding. Sage is downstairs, fixing to leave. Oh and your pie is cooling."
He looked down at the forest floor. He had on hunting boots. His legs were pulled against his chest, his head leaning on the window frame.
"I am so sorry for disappearing like that in the middle of it all,"she said and sat on the edge of the bed and looked at him. "Is she alright now? What happened to her?"
He continued to rest his head. "She's okay, but she got chased by a vampire. She cut open her knee."
"Is there something bothering you ?" she asked the questions with concern, feeling as if something was off.
He swallowed. "M-me?" He sighed. He had lied to the others, told them he'd gone to bed.
"I'm hungry." He admitted. He'd been drinking blood from the pot all night so it was less of the need to drink than to get his predatory instincts out of the way. Ever since Sarah came in bleeding he desperately wanted to hunt.
She had indeed read his face correctly and thought for a moment. " Then...why don't you go hunting?" she stated"Since we are in the woods...finding animals would be easy," she spoke softly keeping the violin on the bed.
"I was fixing to, but animals are... easy." He noticed though since he started hanging with the girls, he had a hard time killing the humans he hunted. He got up and walked to the mirror, his footsteps echoing. He could hear Lyra's heartbeat and steadily tapped his foot to it.
"Sarah had an idea, that I train you guys to defend against other vampires. Sage won't do it. Will you?"
Lyra fixed the pegs and strings of the violin, nodding. "Sure I would love too." She paused for bit. "Besides, I could punch that Eros jerk if I see him," she said with a slight chuckle. "I wanna punch him right on his nose, since he had a lot of ego," she said as she chuckled and punched the air.
He also chuckled. He stood up on the window seal. "He deserves a good punch." He thought a moment. "I'm going to hunt... would you like to come? See me in action, animals only I swear."
She looked at him when offered her to come with him. She thought for moment, but since it was not humans and just animals she agreed. Besides, she didn't want to miss the opportunity to see the action. "Fine let's go then!" she spoke as she stood up and left the violin on the bed.
He looked back, his eyes already dark red. "Bend your knees when you jump." He smirked and jumped out the window.
He landed silently and sniffed the air. He growled slightly as he breathed. His voice took on a sing-song like tone. "Come out, come out wherever you are..." His eyes rapidly scanned for a fast animal, something he could chase.
Lyra nodded walked towards the window. She looked down; it was pretty high. She took a deep breathe before jumping down, bending her knees when she jumped, as Viktor had instructed.
